Her Bully's College Roommate

Amy was giddy with excitement when her parents dropped her off at the Central University of North Texas. Everything was about to change for her. She'd been teased and bullied all through high-school for her appearance (she's barely five feet tall, skinny, flat-chested (but with big, sensitive nipples, and freckled) and for her general nerdiness—she read a lot, sci-fi and comic books mostly, and got really good grades.

The boys at her high-school ignored her (except for Mark and Vignesh—her D&D group), but the girls at my school made her life miserable. In the hallways they would push her, trip her, and tease her. Most people at school didn't even know her name, she was known as “baby” and “boy-chest.”

But the locker-room was the worst. She tried to skip gym class whenever she could, without risking her GPA, but when it was unavoidable, she had to face constant humiliation. Sometimes they would just shut her in a locker and push sweaty socks and dirty underwear through the cracks, sometimes they would hide her clothes and make her do embarrassing things to get them back, sometimes they would do even worse things, things she doesn't like to remember. They took video too, as insurance so she could never go to an adult for help without her shame being broadcast all over the internet.

But that was all behind her, now. Despite it all, she had worked hard, earned straight A's and gotten a full academic scholarship to a college far from home. Here, people would appreciate her for her intellect and she could make a new name for herself, a new impression on everyone. As she carried her bags to her dorm-room, she repeated a mantra to herself—it will be better now, it will be better now.

But when she opened the door and tossed her bag on the floor, she saw a grinning face that she knew too well.

“Boy-chest! I was wondering when you'd get here!”

It was Bianca Lacroix, the leader of her bullies.
