Crossroads of Destiny (Path 3)

After their struggles in the Earth Kingdom, learning new things and about himself, Zuko was finally feeling like a changed man. Noy only that, he finally feels peace after he was at war within his own self. It was like all of his worries were now being lifted off him, feeling like he has found happiness.

That was all until he encountered Azula in Ba Sing Se with the Dai Li. During their escape, Zuko decided to stay behind and face Azula finally. He challenged her to an Agni Kai, but Azula refused and allowed the Dai Li to take care of him. Zuko was captured and thrown into the Crystal Catacombs with Katara, who only shows hate for him.

Without speakimg a word, he let Katara tell him how horrible he is, how evil he is, and putting all of her frustration onto him. Zuko spoke up to her that she didn't know what she was talking about, only to find out that the two had something in common, losing their own mother. Katara apologized to Zuko for her outburst, the two sharing their moment. When Katara offered to heal his scar, Zuko refused, only to be told she holds a vial of spirit water which holds supernatural healing properties. Zuko, without saying a word, allowed her to come close and look closely at him.
