Simon Says:
Let Her
Jessica froze, her body unable to move after one single word from him. One single little word making her freeze in place like a statue as she listened to him approach, closer and closer. His ominous shadow loomed over her like a predator that had its prey dead to rights.
She closed her eyes, flinching, but instead of laying a hand on her, he pinned his own hands against the door to prevent her leaving, her heart beat rapidly as he stuttered and managed to get the words out.
"I... I wish you did u-understand. I wish you understood me..."
Her body began to feel hot as he just started to get going, "I wish you knew what I was feeling... I wish you would just fucking remember everything that I do... and I wish I-I could... I could just tell you everything and I would finally make sense to you."
What did he mean by remember?
Jessica felt a throbbing headache now, it was too much to take, one hand quickly grabbing her breast and another down the front of her thong as a loud moan accompanied her collapse. Her mind went black and though she didn't feel herself hit the ground, her brain felt something.
Not a manipulation, not a change in behavior, her mind wasn't being broken but memories started to bubble from the repressed corners of her subconscious - she could hear voices. Voices of people she knew, things she lived through, things she had said, things she had done.
All of them involving him... What?
The more that rushed in, the warmer she felt, the hotter she felt, the intensity like that of the sun, a stream that became a rush of waves, a gust that was a hurricane, a darkness with no way out that crushed in on her from all sides, and a light that shined brightly, between them both, pure chaos, horrifying and wonderful.
"Master! Play with me!"
A young girl with bright blonde locks running over in a stylish yellow sundress, no older than a toddler, grabbing the hand of a young boy who sat alone in a sandbox, "Let's go play, Master!"
Her eyes widened as she watched another red haired girl in a hoodie, probably in preschool turning back to her friends, "C'mon, Jessie! Let's go!"
"I won't play without Master! Let him play too!" the blonde girl declared defiantly.
"Fiiiine... c'mon Simon!"
Jessica blinked and continued to watch like a series of episodes on Netflix, streaming another, after another. Almost without end. The shy auburn haired boy being led around and smiling with the young blonde girl until one stood out from all the others.
The girl was opening a box and gasped holding up a familiar looking stuffed rabbit. The same one that greeted her on her dresser every morning since elementary school, "Thumper! I love Thumper!"
What surprised her the most was the way she watched the girl in her bright pink dress and tiara nearly tackle the boy into a hug pecking him on the cheek, causing him to shut down and turn red like a freshly grown tomato, "I love you, Master!"
Then the movie fast-forwarded all the way to the start of her party, seeing him staring at her and then looking away nervously. Herself from hours ago, letting out a scoff towards the young man's sister, "Ugh. He's staring at me again, Sam."
Why did it have to feel so lonely? So painful? She clenched down her hand over her chest. Why did hearing herself say that hurt so much?
"How can any of this be okay?" she heard her voice spat.
This time it was from the point of view of the person above her and another wave of emotions rushed inside of her.
Protect her.
Protect what's yours. Protect Jess.
She could feel it, she could feel all of it.
"Why would I be angry with you?" - I could never be mad at you. I'm mad at myself.
"You like rabbits." - I've always known that.
"No they didn't. I told Sam, and they aren't pranks." - Why would they tell me? You told me, I was at the zoo with you, remember? Why would you think that it's a joke?
"Stop." - Don't leave me again. Please.
Jessica shot her eyes open and let out a gasp that seemed to go on the more she felt her back arching upward. God, it felt so good. His wishes felt amazing, she could even feel the emotions behind them when he made them. She even knew why he made them.
It all made sense, she understood why he ran with the ring, she knew why he wouldn't be able to give it up, she knew why he would protect her, why he had kept sending her presents, why he would always look at her, and why it was so fucking hard for him to even say what he thought!
"Jess?" Simon scrambled from the side and leaned over her, checking her forehead, a clear redness to his face as he cupped her cheek in his hand.
She blinked for a moment before looking at him and figuring out what happened.
He put her on his bed when she collapsed, he sat there and watched her react, watched her stick her hand in her thong and go to town, continued to arch her back with both arms behind her. He only watched her and stayed by her, his comforter had a clear drenched spot where her pussy juices made impact.
She flipped her hair out of her face and panted, pulling herself up by her elbows. The feeling of emotions that were a large mixture of worry and concern for the most beautiful creature he ever laid eyes on. She hissed and whimpered after the sudden explosion of euphoria.
How the fuck did he deal with so many emotions at once? Why would he keep subjecting himself to this kind of ****?
Oh, right. She did that.
She groaned and looked back at him and around his room. She remembered this place, but back then the bed was smaller, he didn't have so much crap by his computer and desk... He hadn't had a desk at all...
She looked up at the ceiling and blinked. She remembered that she liked that ceiling. She even made him turn the lights off so she could see everything glowing...
Her legs felt like jello, but she managed to get up and walk over to his bookshelf. How did she not remember all of this before? Her eyes locked onto a small album, fingers reaching out to pull it closer, but it just fell off and opened on the floor. She moved slowly, bending over to pick it up, not caring about whether or not she was giving her Master another view.
Yup. Third page. Second Photo. There was the little boy getting hugged by the little blonde girl. Her hugging her awkward little Master at her birthday... 13 years ago...
"Jess?"
She placed the album back and quietly felt herself walk back to him and her place on the bed, flopping down front first and looking away from him. He was even more worried now, in even more agony. She shut her eyes tightly. Why wouldn't he lie? Why would she even ask that? She knew why.
She had always known why, but she had forgotten. He never did.
He couldn't. He wouldn't.
She gathered herself again. Pushing up until she raised herself up on her knees and looked at him, her words quiet, "All this time, Master? You remembered all of it? You held on to this since... Since we were that little?"
His eyes widened, and she could feel the obvious shock that rippled through him like a bullet through multiple layers of glass. He was dumbfounded, but then she could feel that same twisting and gripping pain building within him as he looked away from her.
He then nodded quietly as she looked around the room and back at him, a pained and unsure expression on her face, her voice softer again as the confusion mixed with a sudden guilt, but she needed to know. She had to know why, even as her own memory began to piece together those same moments, like water flowing through a crop field, she had to know,
"Why did we stop being so close?"
Her Master looked away and frowned, his fists clenched, and even as confused as she was. This was hurting him. Physically hurting him having to relive it falling apart all over again. She just wanted to make it stop. He needed to stop...
"I don't know. You got annoyed with me when I wanted to keep playing. You started hanging out with other girls more. Sam could still keep up with you, but I couldn't. We started being around other groups of people. So I tried to let you go, but... I couldn't. I kept running into you one way or another - I'd always see you at school and I just... I faded into the background of your life. I just wanted you to be happy. Not being normal, it really hurts when you're a kid. Losing a friend like you just, ripped me a part in a way I couldn't really get over. I guess I just gave you the impression that I was stalking you, which... I wasn't really trying to do..."
Jess bit her lip as she felt the sadness and pain well up inside him. He could finally talk to her, and the more he talked, the more it hurt. It made her want to start bawling. This was how he felt looking at her. One tear managed to escape his eyes though, making him rub them with the sleeve of his pajama shirt.
She felt herself crying at this point. As hard as she tried not to.
He then smiled and let up a pained laugh, "I guess we both fucked up."
She let out a small painful chuckle of her own as she nodded, "Y-Yeah..."
Both of them looked away for a moment as they tried to think, but her Master's wish told her all she needed to know. He felt guilty. He felt like he was responsible for taking the whole world on his shoulders. Same as he always was. Whenever he thought she was in trouble he just came running, even if it bothered her. Now he even took on the burden of her becoming a genie. That was who he was, just... him.
She smiled.
"It's not your fault, Master," she found herself saying aloud, "I just dragged you back in again..."
He blinked as she rubbed her arm and looked away, "I wasn't ready for it either. I mean, how many people wake up on their 18th birthday before finding out they're an actual genie? I was just a cheerleader trying to throw the best party ever..."
"And if, if I had only remembered, I wouldn't have made you run away. Besides, how many of those other people suddenly bound to rings have someone like you trying to look out for them?"
He frowned and looked away as she remembered the same expression when he lost that flower he wanted to give her. If what had worked then, it was worth seeing if it worked now. Without much warning she pulled him by the arm up onto the bed with her, bouncing once or twice as he landed, "J-Jess?"
She smiled, "It's okay. Stay with me."
He nodded his head and decided to lie down with her, avoiding the stain spot with his pajamas, both of them being quiet but smiling. Nothing really needed to be said at that point.
"I always liked your ceiling," she remarked, "Kind of dorky now but, I still like it."
She smiled over to him as he glanced back and then managed to have a smile for himself. She felt the warmth starting to come back to him. He was feeling happy, relieved that she was there.
"So, what did you think of my party? I mean-y'know before the whole becoming a genie and my Master... thing?"
Smooth there, Edwards. You're sounding as awkward as him now, she thought to herself.
Her Master was quiet, taking a moment to think and then looked back at the ceiling.
"I think you were trying too hard," he admitted, "You were putting too much effort into what everyone else thought of you and what you wanted them to do. Instead of what you really needed for yourself, right?"
She raised an eyebrow as he kept going. It was almost surprising to hear him sound so deep of a thinker he actually was. He scratched his head while turning his eyes toward her.
"I mean, I was kind of an eyesore there for you, too. So I kinda just moved awkwardly about; but-I mean, watching Brad epic fail at a kegstand in your garage was pretty great."
Jessica found herself snorting before letting out a laugh, "He did what?"
He smiled at her as he began to relieve the moment, the humor of the moment in his emotions making it easier to pay attention, "Yeah, he tried to go one handed on top of the keg. Thing was, he tried that same move on my sister she always hates. So Sam threw a ping-pong ball behind him into his cup before Chris gave it to him to chug. He nearly choked on it and fell over, broke that table in your garage."
She covered her mouth as she tried to suppress a loud cackle, her cheeks turning red as she could feel Simon describing the scene to her, "Oh no! My Dad loved that table. It was an heirloom! You don't really mean that..."
"Yup. Went full Titanic," he then took his hands and made the sound effect of the wood cracking before splitting in half.
"Wanted to break out that Celine Dion song when almost brought Chris down with him. Y'know all 'Never let goooo'."
She began giggling relentlessly as he chuckled at his later dramatization. Both of them laughing with each other almost felt like being a 5-year-old again. Jessica realized how much she missed this side of him, the storyteller with the big imagination. So excited when he wanted to share something with her, flapping his arms and losing control of his voice.
His laughing and smile soon stopped though, returning to a more unsure tone of voice as the realization of his own came out, "And that was when I got dragged into Kevin's plan and I needed to go into the backyard..."
Things went quiet again as she wrapped her arm around herself and looked over to him, instinctively looping her fingers into his closest hand. She knew what that meant, but something else was bothering him. Something he felt was trouble.
"What is it?"
"I told Sam I'd give you the present from your Mom back in the morning."
"Oh..." she rubbed her shoulders again and looked down at the ring, saying aloud what she now knew, "You won't give it back because you don't want it to fall into the wrong hands, right? You don't trust anyone else to protect me."
He nodded as she continued to stare at it, touching it for the first time with a sense of hesitation, then rubbing the emerald in the center that matched her eyes. She scooted herself instinctively closer to him as she frowned, "And I can't go free or else some kind of alien demon genie realm police-assholes will come and take me away. And you don't want me to leave you again. Especially now that I know the reason you've been staring at me the whole time is because..."
"You were my oldest friend and biggest crush since we were toddlers in a sandbox?"
She blushed while nodding, he seemed so relaxed in saying it, even as he took a deep breath. She smiled trying to get her thoughts straight, "Yes, and that..."
"I love you."
She may have felt his emotions, she may have had her brain remember the same things he had after blocking it out, but she certainly wasn't expecting that to come out as fast as he said it.
"And I can't stop myself. There could never be anyone else. Not like you."
Inside her mind the gears were going into overdrive. Her recently rediscovered inner-child jumping up and down for joy, her heart pounding faster than at a Jazz Night in an old speakeasy, and just the feeling that continually seemed to blossom out of her.
"Look Jess, I know you're still getting used to all of this, so I-MMPH!?!"
He certainly didn't expect it when she rolled over on top of him and started kissing him out of nowhere. It was sloppy, and clearly he still had a lot to learn, but judging from his tongue and the way his hands were already moving on her ass and hair the boy was a quick study.
And judging from the ever growing bulge in his pajamas against her, that would also be a surprise. When they broke off, they were both letting the saliva drip from their mouths and lips, panting and feeling some sort of new urges being awakened.
"S-So you're definitely not going to quit being my Master. You know you can't leave me again after all this shit. You won't let me get away again, are you?"
"NNNNope," he affirmed, "Definitely not after that."
She nodded, hugging his torso tightly with a smile, "I can work with that."
She paused as she glanced out the window and then worriedly back up at the young man she now found herself wrapped around, "What happens now? Sam's still going to try and get you to give me something back, and I don't know what I'm going to do about everything else that's happened. You wouldn't have any more ideas in that thick head of yours, would you?"
Does he though?
