Respond to Vivi.

"Is that you, Vivi?" you ask quietly.

The voice is distant but it seems to be coming from the other side of the wall. "Yeah. It's me. What are you doing here?"

"Coming for you."

There's a brief silence. "I can't... escape on my own. They covered my eyes and bound my hands. There's no spell I can cast in this condition that'll help me escape, and they keep a close eye on my cell. I can tell. I hear their footsteps go by all the time."

"I'm so sorry. But don't worry. We came with a plan."

"We?"

You slip down to sit on the floor. The girls slowly crawl out from your pockets and sit on your lap. "All right," you whisper down to them. "Here's the plan. You two walk between the bars, find the keys, and get us free. If you run into any trouble, grow Fang back to normal size and take the guards down together. You have the element of surprise. Once both me and Vivi are out... Well, I hope this Bunny Hop thing will come to me when I need it most."

Fang stares forwards towards your midsection. "Wow. It's kind of intimidating when it's the size of your body," she whispers under her breath.

Delphi looks over. "I live my whole life like this. You get used to it."

"Do you ever use it to sneak around and peep on people?"

"Sweetie, I don't need to peep."

"Can we maybe hurry this along? We can talk after we're no longer in prison," you say.

They hop off and scurry towards the bars. After slipping through, they disappear from your sight. That's all you can do for the time being. They don't have your Arcane Eye nor would it be a great time to be flying a little orb around like a drone. For now, you continue to lean back against the wall and whisper to the girl on the other side.

"So what happened exactly?" you ask.

"Probably the same as you," she replies. "I came asking questions and then they overpowered me. Got the jump on me mostly. I may be powerful, but... I don't exactly have eyes on the back of my head. I was too careless. I swear on my life it won't happen again."

"Don't sound so serious all of the sudden. Where'd your mischievous side go?"

"Kyle..."

"We're going to get out of here. That's why I came. Then we have a lot to talk about when we're back at Castle Phoenix, because this King Thadius guy is more of a dick than I expected. And I already expected it. Guess what?"

"What?"

"Rabbit's Foot is back with us too. Lalarin. We're all going back together."

There's another silence. "My heart is racing."

"Excited for a prison break?"

"That too..."
