To the PokeMart

You wave goodbye to Professor Oak and neatly shut the door behind you. When you turn back to Blue, he's already halfway down the street!

"Hold up, Blue! Wait for me!" you yell after him as you pick up your pace to catch up to him.

"The journey of a Pokemon Master waits for nobody!" Blue hollers over his shoulder without breaking stride. "Now hurry up, we gotta get a move on if I want to have a good start as a trainer!"

Luckily for you, he stops for long enough at the next intersection to let you catch up. "So, Master, where exactly are we headed first?" you ask in a half-mocking fashion as you finally make it to the intersection yourself.

"I gotta stop at the PokeMart of course," he replies as he begins crossing the street. "There's always novice trainers hanging out on the route to Viridian, and I'm gonna need to stock up on some items first."

The PokeMart is just a few buildings from the corner. Blue pulls the door all the way open before waltzing through, leaving the door to almost slam into your shoulder as you pass through. You begin wandering aimlessly down the snack aisle. Blue took all your cash but that doesn't stop your stomach from rumbling just looking at all the colorful packages.

You begin thinking of how you could have budgeted your money before it was taken away. You try to recall from memory what pokemon are local to the area and estimate how many pokeballs you'd need to catch them all. Blue was also right, there's always other trainers in the area, and you'd need some potions to keep your pokemon topped up between battling them. No doubt Blue is gonna stock up on both of those. Thinking about Blue makes you realize he should be shopping around here somewhere. You rush to the end of the aisle and look up and down the store looking for him.

"Amber!!!" Suddenly you hear Blue's voice from across the store, somewhere near the entrance. You rush back to the other end of the aisle to find Blue already getting his purchases rung up by the cashier.
