With time itself against her side, Marianne ran as fast as her legs could allow her to her bedroom, for she knew that every second the termites would slowly destroy her dress until there was nothing covering her, and she certainly didn't want to be naked in public again.

"I'm almost there", Marianne thought as she managed to arrive to the dormrooms area of the academy, but much to her misfortune, her dress was on its last legs, as all that remained of it were straps of string and cloth only barely held together.

"Oh hi, Marianne, what is happening to your dress ?!", commented one of Marianne classmates as she passed by, but she didn't bother to listen, for all that mattered for her right now was to enter in her dorm.

"'sigh',sigh', that w-was a c-close one...", muttered Marianne as she finally arrived at last to the door of her dormroom and tried to open it, only for it remain closed.

"Huh ?", she gasped confused at the why didn't it open, after which, she tried again and again to open the door, but not matter how many times she tries, the door simply wasn't moving.

"W-Why ?, don't tell me i-i...", exclamed Marianne in frustation at the closed, just before realizing two important things. One, that she had forgotten her keys in the other uniform.

And two, that her dress and underwear were at the breaking point, and if she didn't enter inside her dormroom right now, all of her bits would exposed to everyone in the hallway.

"Ehh..., Marianne--, where's your dress!", the same person form earlier said.

Realizing her dire situation, Marianne tried once again, to rip the door open by ****, only to go nowhere, "why...?", she muttered to herself, curling in the floor, and covering what remained of her modesty with her hand, preparing herself mentally for what was certainly going to be an embarrasing moment for her.
