Investigate the Dragon Tomb

The next day, Fred, Daenerys, Jeanne, Melody, Mordred, Suzie, Farsel, Onsade and the dark elves arrived at the dragon tomb. Inside there were several high elves being led by Linda.

"Its Linda" said Fred.

"You know her?" asked Melody.

"Yeah, she was a nerd that Gwen bullied. She kinda had an undeserved reputation as a psychopath"

The high elves and dark elves fought each other while Fred moved towards Linda.

"You here for the dragons too?" asked Fred.

"I really came here to retrieve Gwen. We got some bad intelligence saying she was in Predigger but after we arrived, we learned of the dragon tomb"

Linda fired a lightning spell at Fred. Suzie tried her own lightning attack but suddenly everything but Linda started moving in slow motion.

"What the fuck is this?" asked Fred.

"Linda is using time magic" said Melody, "it slows down time for everything within range accept her"

This meant Linda was able to hit a lot of hits in on Fred, Daenerys, Jeanne, Melody, Mordred, Suzie, Farsel and Onsade.

"Okay, we all need to be at our strongest" said Fred, going into his incubus form.

Suzie likewise went into her Raijin form. Daenerys and Mordred were unable to use their dragon forms in such close spaces.

"Mordred and I will go on ahead to the dragon eggs" said Daenerys.

"Farsel, you should go too if you want to get one of those dragons to imprint on you"

"Thanks" said Farsel.

Farsel, Onsade, Daenerys and Mordred went further ahead to the eggs while Fred, Suzie, Jeanne and Melody continued to fight Linda. Even in his incubus form, Fred still couldn't catch up to Linda as she effortlessly dodged his fireballs.

Suzie found she could attack Linda in her lightning bolt form. She hit Linda directly only to bounce off. She looked at Linda and found she was wearing rubber armour.

"What is that?" asked Jeanne, "is that rubber?"

"I knew that my time slowing magic wouldn't slow down a lightning attack quick enough so I found a spell that generates rubber armour round my body"

"But why rubber?" asked Melody.

Fred forgot that people in Arizelle didn't understand electricity.

"Rubber is a good insulator" he said.

"Insulator?" asked Jeanne.

"I'll explain later. The point is that lightning attacks won't work on her. We need something fast that will hit her. Wait, light is the fastest thing there is"

"Like my Sword of Light" said Jeanne.

Jeanne swung her sword, producing a wave of light that was too quick. Even with time slowed down, Linda was unable to dodge and went flying.

"I must admit, I don't have anything to protect me from light based attacks" said Linda, "but I can still hit you with lightning"

Linda started firing lightning everywhere. Jeanne blocked the attack with her sword.

"Dammit, I can't use my light attacks while blocking" she said.

"Shit" said Fred.

Suddenly, a realisation hit Suzie. While Fred and Melody were hiding behind Jeanne to protect themselves from the lightning, Suzie began to walk towards Linda.

"What are you doing?" asked Fred.

"Get back here, the lightning will kill you" said Melody.

Suzie let out a massive clap, releasing a sound wave that sent Linda flying.
