Disgruntled Friends

Stepping out of Brian's bedroom Nicole wiped around her lips with her thumb. It didn't take much to get Brian to his edge, and if that's what she needed to do for her friend this week, so be it. Nothing was going to convince Nicole that Anna and Kenny needed to be together. Whether that was for dating or fucking, that was up in the air, but Brian wasn't a factor for sure.

As the redhead made her way towards her bedroom Nicole jumped as JJs door flew open. "Oh what do you know anyway?!" Mindy exclaimed as she stormed from the room,

"Mindy, come on, don't be like that. I'm only being honest," JJ easily told the girl who tossed up a hand in denial,

"I don't need your bullshit, dumbass honesty, James! Now leave me alone!" Nicole stepped to the side as Mindy stormed past her and JJ lifted a hand slowly rubbing his face,

"Jesus, what was that about?" Nicole asked in a whisper while moving to JJs side,

"She's...got some intense stuff to work through, I was trying to help but..." JJ replied with a small shrug,

"Want to not be so vauge?" Nicole asked as she followed the teen into his room,

"Gotta, its personal," JJ clarified,

"I can keep a secret, loose lips sink ships, right?" Nicole said with a quick smile,

JJ sighed and glanced up at Nicole, "Okay, only because this affects your friend too," JJ agreed, "Mindy, she has a thing for Ken, like hardcore. She came in here all bent because Ken spent the day with Anna and noticed they seemed a little too...friendly by the end of it,"

"Oh jesus, Brian's got it for Anna too, and he was getting pissed for the same reason," Nicole groaned back,

"No shit?" JJ asked in some minor surprise, "Knew he crushed on her, didn't know it was like that,"

"Yeah, but back to Mindy," Nicole directed,

"Right, so I gave her the hard truth that maybe Ken and Anna might find themselves getting closer this week and she flipped. She does not want that dude with anyone but her. She's head over heels in love," JJ finished with a shrug, "Wouldn't listen to anything I tried to say,"

"God damn it, those two don't need that. They are good for each other, what we need to do is make sure Bry and Mindy keep back. Anna can get skittish, and I don't want her getting scared off from someone she likes," Nicole said in a firm protective tone,

"I hear you there," JJ agreed, "I want to help them both, but only help I can give Mindy is trying to help her move on,"

Nicole let out another nod, "Let's talk in the morning, were gonna be busy this week im betting," JJ let out a short bitter laugh and nodded, laying down as Nicole left the room.
