Find the voice.

"Where'd that come from?" Delphi asks.

"I should have known you had some sort of previous relationship with this family in some regard, though I admittedly was not certain. The last thing I expected to see today was yourself, dressed to impress, snooping around the bedchambers of Lady Sabrasa Relestel," the voice continues.

Where is it? You frantically open drawers as the voice grows nearer. Finally, you open one across the room and lift a swirling purple orb. It's heavy, and seems to be made of glass. When you gaze within it, you see a man standing on the other side.

Elok Daven--an elven man who has no right to speak on your manner of dress. Despite likely residing wherever his lair may be, he's suited up all the same.

"Damn. You're the one her mom was in contact with, probably since back then, right? Is her whole family in on this?" you ask. Then you shift your gaze over to the eyeball sitting beside the bed. "That eye... I knew it looked familiar. That belongs to an ALICE, doesn't it?"

"You must feel clever, speaking what you have managed to deduce aloud."

"Shut up. I don't know what plans you have with Lalarin's family, but they have her imprisoned here."

"I suppose they discovered she knew too much, but could not afford to discard of her."

"Where are you, Elok?"

He shakes his head slowly. "You already knew that would not get an answer, Demon King. Since you have shown quite clearly that you have no wish to join forces with me, we have little to discuss right now. I have much to do. Seeing you were here was just a surprise, so I had to check it out myself."

"Uh... Kyle?" Delphi speaks up from behind.

You turn to see several small, copper spheres roll out from under the bed. Each of them have multiple blue crystals that emit a glow like tiny beacons. It's like an infestation. They keep coming out, to the point where you begin to back up against the wall. "Damn. Fine. You're right. I don't have anything to discuss with you, Elok. I thought maybe you'd want to know more about Earth--smartphones, television, the Internet, manga, anime, videogames, an entire world of discoveries. I guess not."

A smirk appears on his face. "I see. Perhaps we can--"

"But I've got a girl to save." You chuck the orb across the room, and it shatters to pieces against the wall. You then draw your sword and wield it with confidence as the orbs roll into a pile--collecting at the foot of the bed.

The stack climbs. They roll up one another and fit together like pieces of a puzzle. Where the crystals lay, the orbs magically seal together. It's like a modular monster. After another few moments, it takes shape into a giant creature with long, wide arms and stout legs, with a body consisting only of a single mass of copper balls. Though in the center, several of them turn in unison to form a circle of glowing blue light. The giant eye stares directly at you, though you're ready. You squeeze the handle of Awakened Lauo and await its first move.
