A Day of Rest

After cleaning up the mess your Pokemon made and taking a quick shower you collapse back into the bed, quickly falling into a deep sleep.

You aren’t sure how long you have been asleep, but you are awoken by the sound of running water. With some effort you sit up in the bed and look around the room. The first thing you notice is that Rhapsody is no longer asleep in the bed. The second thing you notice is that the bathroom door is closed and you realize the sound you heard was the shower. Rhapsody must have finally woken up and be in the shower.

“Well, guess I have slept enough. Time to get up, make some tea.” You get up out of the bed and start looking through your backpack for some of the tea Mom had packed for you. You grabbed some tea and started looking around the Kitchen Cupboards. While you didn’t find a tea kettle, you do find a small pot to steep your tea in, and two cups that Nicky had NOT broken.

“Not to self, get a kettle, and figure out what the fuck is going on with Nicky” Bell was such a lazy bum that you can’t imagine her starting a fight, and Minnie is so docile she was literally in the corner crying. Which means Nicky picked a fight with Bell. “Still, why the fuck were all three of them out of their Pokeballs?” The only one who could have let them out was Bell, but that doesn’t answer why? You are honestly surprised Bell knew how to let them out in the first place. You kind of assumed she couldn’t even open a door, let alone a Pokeball. “I guess that lazy plant isn’t as dumb as she has been letting on.”

Your rambling thoughts are interrupted when you hear the shower being turned off. Rhapsody must almost be done with her shower. A few moments later you see the bathroom door open and are gifted to the sight of Rhapsody walking out of bathroom with nothing blocking your view of her naked wet plump body.

You don’t get to enjoy the view for long before Rhapsody cries out in surprise and runs back into the bathroom and slams the door shut.

After a few moments you hear Rhapsody call out “Could you hand me my dress? I left it on the bed. Also, could you please put something on?” You look down at yourself and realize that you are currently wearing nothing but your panties.

“Ok, give me a minuet” You grab Rhapsody’s dress off the bed and bring it to her. “Here you go.” She opens the door a crack and quickly grabs her the dark purple dress. “I made some tea, so come out when you are ready.” You consider staying mostly naked but decide that would probably just make Rhapsody uncomfortable. You have just meet after all.

By the time Rhapsody walks out of the bathroom you have gotten dressed and are sipping on a cup of tea. You wish you had some sugar or milk to put into it, but you weren’t carrying any on you, your backpack was already heavy enough as it is. “Here I made some tea.” You hand the cup and continue drinking. “Sorry, I don’t have anything to put into it.”

“No, this is fine." Rhapsody is quit for a moment before saying "Thank you.”

“Its just tea, my Mom literally grows and sells the stuff.”

“No, for helping me. If you hadn’t come along, I…” Rhapsody leaves the rest of the statement unspoken. You both know what would have happened. The same thing happened to you.

A moment of awkward silence passes, with neither of you knowing just what to say. Deciding small talk would at least be better than silence you ask the obvious question “So, what were you doing on Route 1 that late?”

“Oh, I was trying to find a Pokémon. Some Pokémon only come out at night.”

“Find anything interesting?”

This perks Rhapsody right up “YES actually, give me a moment!” She quickly walks over to her back pack, giving you a good view of her butt as it bounces with her movements. She pulls out a Pokeball and tosses onto the ground and releases the Pokémon.

The small Houndour looks around and raises its haunches aggressively. Obviously agitated and nervous by the situation the small Pokémon backs itself into a corner.

You ask, “Is this the first Pokémon you have caught?”

“I could barely pay to get my Pokegear, I couldn’t afford to buy a starter. So, I guess that makes Houndour my starter.”

“Wait, so you purposefully went out into the wilderness, at night, with out a single Pokémon.”

Rhapsody sheepishly looks at the ground “I thought there would be less people about.”

“I mean, technically there are less people. But just as some Pokémon only come out at night, some people only come out at night.”

“Yeah, I guess in hindsight it was kind of dumb.”

Ok, now you made Rhapsody feel bad, which makes you feel bad. “At least you meant to go out at night. My dumb ass just lost track of time, and then I got lost.”

Rhapsody giggles at that “Yeah, I guess we are a bunch of silly girls, aren’t we?”

“I want to argue with that, but I am feeling pretty silly right now.”

Rhapsody smiles while laughing and her voice sends butterflies to your stomach. You find yourself wanting to make her smile some more “So, want some help with Houndour?”

“YES PLEASE!”

Quietly laughing to yourself, you reach into your backpack and grab a bag of Pokémon Snacks and toss it to Rhapsody. “First advice, give it treats, second, give it a name.”

Rhapsody sits down on her knees and gently tosses a small piece of food towards the Houndour. The Pokémon sniffs the food and gobbles it up. You tell Rhapsody to keep it up and within a few minuets the small Pokémon is eating out of Rhapsody’s hand while getting scratched behind the ears. “Oh, you are such a cute little doggy, yes you are, yes you are!” She looks at you “So, do you have any name recommendations.”

You take a sip of your tea while thinking “Well, do we even know if it is a boy, or a girl?”

Rhapsody flips the small dog over onto its back and starts rubbing its belly while looking it over. “Well, considering that it has balls I would assume he is a boy.” She thinks for a moment “How about, Henry?” She looks back at you “Ok, so what’s next?”

“Next, would be us going out and training up Henry some bit. No hurry though. After yesterday I could use a day off.”

Rhapsody looks at you questioningly “What do you mean us?”

Trying to not sound too excited. You don't want to get your hopes up after all “Well, I was thinking, it might be nice to travel together.” You try to hide your blush by drinking from your teacup. No need to let Rhapsody catch on that you are developing a crush on her. You don’t want to freak her out, scare her away. Shit why do you feel so nervous, is it getting hot in here, why are you sweating?

Your internal monolog is interrupted by a loud squeal as Rhapsody jumps up and wraps you up in a huge hug. “Oh this is going to be so much FUN! We can battle together, and do each other’s hair, go cloths shopping!” You aren’t really listening as Rhapsody continues to ramble, simply enjoying the feeling of being squished up against Rhapsody’s boobs. They are just as soft as you imagined.

Yeah, today is going to be a good day. Tomorrow though, time to get to work!
