She misreads the situation and is angry.

The moment their eyes meet, Eleanor knows that she is in some serious trouble. Megan marches towards the table and sets both cups of coffee down before turning towards Eleanor in what she can only assume to be a hostile move.

“Stop. I am not skilled in hand to hand combat,” Eleanor tries to calm her down.

“Good. I am sick and tired of having to defend Matt from you pieces of shit who try to make fun of him for being blind. You aren’t the first whore to strip naked and taunt him. You will be the last though,” Megan growls.

“Whore?” Eleanor asks.

Before Matt can intervene, Megan grabs Eleanor and twists her arm behind her back before shoving her face down onto the table. Eleanor cries out in pain which only serves to spur Megan on.

“Megan, stop, you have this all wrong. She isn’t what you think she is,” Matt pleads.

“Don’t cover for her. I should call the police! Have them throw your skanky, naked ass in jail!” Megan says before delivering a stinging slap to Eleanor’s bottom, causing her to cry out.

Suddenly, Matt cries out in surprise which makes Megan stop. Eleanor looks up to see what he is doing-- which is shaking the Holostyle Watch up and down.

“It stopped. It started to vibrate,” Matt explains. “What did you do to her, Megan?”

“I uh… spanked her. I didn’t mean to… I was just so mad,” Megan says.

“Do it again. Try it again,” Matt says.

“Would someone please tell me what is going on?” Megan demands. “I don’t get it!”

“Just try spanking her again. For me?” Matt pleads.

Eleanor watches the two go back and forth, not understanding for one second what is going on. Apparently, Matt was winning because Megan throws her hands up in defeat and turns back to Eleanor. Without a single word of warning, Eleanor is shoved back against the table and several more spanks are delivered to her which makes her cry out again.

“There! It happened again! It definitely vibrated,” Matt says.

Eleanor pushes herself up and grabs the Holostyle Watch from Matt’s hand and gazes down at it. A grin appears on her face as she realizes that it isn’t broken at all but rather drained. Her relief is short lived however as it is once again completely dead.

“I don’t understand. Why did her slapping my bottom bring it to life?” Eleanor asks.

“My first guess is that your pain made it activate. However, before I can say for sure, is there anything else you felt when she pinned you to the table and spanked you?” Matt asks.

“Of course. I’m humiliated! No one should ever touch my bottom,” Eleanor shouted.

“I’m sorry about this. I really am. Megan, slap her in the face,” Matt said.

Megan looked at Matt and then at Eleanor. With a shrug of her shoulders, she quickly slapped Eleanor in the face. Eleanor grabs her cheek for a second but looks down at the Holostyle Watch.

“Nothing. That means…” Eleanor’s face dawns with realization.

“Then it’s humiliation. But why?” Matt asks.

“Okay. This is too weird for me. Either you guys fill me in on what is going on or I’m out of here,” Megan says, folding her arms.

“Actually, she does deserve an explanation and I wouldn’t mind hearing one as well. I think it’s time to tell us why you are here, Eleanor,” Matt says.
