Reluctantly, yes.

Eleanor is at war with herself. She has no idea what to do. If she refuses to give him the Holostyle Watch, she risks making him angry and right now, he is her only ally. On the other hand, this is her personal Holostyle Watch which is programmed with her DNA. It is indestructible so each person was given one and one alone. If he refuses to give it back to her, she could possibly be naked for the rest of her life.

“Is there something wrong?” Matt asks.

“No. It is just that… my Holostyle Watch is much more than covering. It is a weapon, a tool, it is very important. What if you don’t give it back to me?” she asks.

“Would you really be any worse off than you are right now?” Matt asks.

“Yes. Right now, I have hope that I can get it working again. If you don’t give it back to me, I have no hope,” she points out.

“Well, I’ll tell you what. You let me hold your Holostyle Watch and I’ll give you my jacket to wear. This way you will have something on when Megan returns. Between the three of us, we’ll be able to figure something out for you,” Matt offers.

Reluctantly, she removed the Holostyle Watch from her wrist and inches closer to him. She holds it out and waits for him to remove the jacket-- not quite sure which section of covering it is. She is mildly disappointed when he pulls off his outer most top covering. She was hoping to cover her nether regions first but she supposed any covering would do.

“Here you go,” he says, handing his jacket over.

“Please, give this back,” she says, handing over the Holostyle Watch.

“Of course,” he says, taking it from her.

Not taking her eyes off of him, Eleanor slips the jacket over her body but immediately feels a warmth come over her unlike anything she has ever felt before. The warmth increases steadily until she can no longer take it and pulls the jacket off.

“Are you having trouble?” Matt asks as he fondles the Holostyle Watch.

“I cannot wear this. It burns,” she answers.

“Well, that makes sense in a way,” Matt says. “Let’s just say it definitely lends credibility to your story that you’ve never worn clothes before. This is so interesting. So, are you from another planet?”

“No. Not another planet. Another dimension. Your world of Ashton is just one of many dimensions,” Eleanor explains.

“World of Ashton? You do realize that Ashton is a town not a world. Our country is made up of a bunch of states which in turn are made up of towns and cities. I guess since we have no proof of life on other planets, you can call our world Earth. So, what is your dimension called?” Matt asks.

“You mean you believe me?” Eleanor asks.

“That there are other dimensions out there? Of course. I was born blind or… sightless. I never got to watch movies or read books on my own except for using braille and that doesn’t come easy to me. So, when my parents and later Megan asked what kinds of stories I would like to hear, I chose science fiction. Alternate dimensions, life on other planets, that kind of stuff. I grew up listening to riveting tales of just this sort of thing. So, yes, I believe you and I am thrilled to be a part of such an adventure. I just regret that I cannot see you or this device with my own eyes,” Matt says.

“You mean my naked body?” Eleanor asks, her head cocking slightly.

“What?” Matt sounds flustered. “No! I mean, surely there are some differences between your bodies and ours. I didn’t mean…”

“Well, no matter. Once we get my Holostyle Watch working once more, I will be able to give you sight,” Eleanor says.

“You were serious about that?” Matt asks.

“Absolutely,” she answers.

Matt looks like he is about to respond when his head snaps towards the door. Three seconds later, the door opens and Megan’s frame appears in the open doorway with two cups of coffee in her hand.
