“Yes, I am naked,” Eleanor says with a small nod.

“I see. Care to tell me why you are completely naked in a library?” Matt asks, the blush still in his cheeks.

“Well, my Holostyle Watch has stopped working. I have no way to cover myself,” she explains.

Matt is silent. She has no idea what was on his mind. In fact, she can’t imagine what is on anyone’s mind in this dimension. How can she? She doesn’t know what their technological advances were up to as of yet.

She knows that they still have books which hasn’t been used in her home in over three hundred years. She still has no idea what those coverings on his body are. They look like they were made of some kind of fabric. Back home, the only use that fabric had was dust coverings for equipment and tools.

“A Holostyle Watch? I will answer you but first, tell me what is it you mentioned earlier? Clothes? Is that what you are wearing?” Eleanor asks.

“Well, of course. A person should not run around naked. Are you trying to tell me you never heard of clothes? How is that even possible?” Matt asks.

“Um, I could try to explain it to you but you would never believe me in a trillion years,” she says with a sigh.

“I think you’d find that a blind man is very much used to the concept of adapting to different situations,” Matt challenges.

“When will your friend return?” Eleanor asks.

“Uh oh. I had nearly forgotten about Megan. I may be open minded but I assure you that she is not,” Matt answers thoughtfully.

“I will try to explain my predicament as quickly as possible. First, what is blind?” Eleanor asks.

“I cannot see,” Matt answers.

“Oh, I see. Blind is another word for sightless. Well, assuming that I can get my technology to start working again, I can restore your sight. As for my Holostyle Watch, I am not sure but I believe your primitive covering known as clothes is an ancient precursor to the Holostyle Watch. You turn a dial and your body is covered by a fashionable design. Your nipples, bottom cheeks, and genital region is completely covered. However, with the Holostyle Watch, your covering is damage proof, dirt proof, and you may change the colors with a press of a button,” Eleanor explains.

“Wait, are you serious? That kind of technology hasn’t even been dreamed of yet,” Matt says. “This is unbelievable. Can I see it… so to speak? I would like to feel it. Hold it.”
