Chapter 6
by jaynedixon
What does Jayne do?
She left the hotel and went back home
Outside the hotel, Jayne reached into her bag and brought out her phone, she saw messages from Mark and opened them; 'At the airport' and 'In the lounge' she read and quickly replied 'Flight on time?'. She was still stood outside the hotel ordering a car to take her back home when she heard a voice.
"Excuse me Miss." She heard from behind her.
Jayne turned around, walking up to her was the blonde-haired girl from the bar.
"Hi." She said as she walked up to Jayne.
"Hi." Jayne replied.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you, I'm Stacy, the hostess." She introduced herself.
"Hi Stacy. Did I forget something?" Jayne asked. She noticed the girl had green eyes.
"No, no. Nothing like that." The girl replied.
She was shorter than Jayne, about 5'3" Jayne thought, and she noticed her hourglass figure as she walked towards her.
"Oh sorry, I thought that was why you were shouting for me." Jayne said, a little confused.
"No, it was that man that you left with. He's been here the last few nights, with different women." The girl explained.
"Oh." Jayne said and smiled and thought she heard a southern accent in the girl's voice.
"I saw you leave together and then I saw you not get in the elevator with him and leave." Stacy said.
"Yes. Yes, I was going to go back to his room...and then I decided I should just go home." Jayne admitted and felt her face go red.
"It's OK. It's none of my business. But I just wanted you to know we had some trouble with him and another woman two nights ago. He didn't seem nice, that's all." She explained.
"Oh OK. Thanks for telling me, he seemed charming and nice." Jayne added.
"Yes, I thought so too the first night." Stacy agreed.
"Oh, he charmed you as well." Jayne teased.
"No, I mean I didn't go with him, we are not really allowed too." Stacy quickly replied.
"It's OK. I'm sure it happens." Jayne laughed.
"Maybe." Stacy blushed.
"Pretty hostess, cute guy at the bar." Jayne teased.
"Stop it, and thanks. So, are you heading somewhere else now?" Stacy asked, changing the subject.
"Just home. Waiting for a car." Jayne said and checked her phone.
"I hope he didn't spoil your night." She replied.
"Oh, it's fine. He paid for all the drinks." Jayne laughed.
"That's always good. Listen I finish soon and there's a bar around the block I go too if you wanted another drink. It's nothing like this, more of a dive bar, but they are used to me being all dressed up like this." Stacy said.
"Well, you do look like you should be drinking here than in a dive bar. It's a very pretty dress." Jayne commented.
"Thanks. You look great too, and after being here for hours I just want to go somewhere different." She replied.
"I'm sure." Jayne agreed.
"So, do you want a drink?" She asked.
Does Jayne go for a drink with her?
