Chapter 24 by HistoricoPublius
How does Alice offer to help him relax?
Offer to let him use Deborah.
Alice snaps her fingers. "I have a wonderful idea!" She glances around to make sure no one is very near, then leans in toward Simmons to speak slightly more closely. "My family has a ward servant - a bond girl, if you will. Her name's Deborah, a sad story, but she's fully ours and very pliable. I've no doubt that I could bring her to your barracks at some convenient time if you'd like to use her for a little physical relief. She's a pretty blonde girl, and I know most men are fond of that." She smiles up at him.
Simmons looks taken aback and, truth be told, rather shocked. "I - no, Miss Foxhaven, I couldn't possibly -"
Alice tilts her head innocently to one side. "Why ever not? Deb is a good girl and I'm sure she'd be eager to repay you for your service to the crown. It's well within a bond girl's duties, after all - the state ultimately is the one making their survival possible!"
"I - Miss Foxhaven, I could not possibly - !" Simmons looks around nervously, stuttering.
Alice frowns slightly. Is he truly resistant to the idea, or just bound up in propriety and uncomfortable discussing it in public? If it's the latter, she wants to press this - it would be good for him and fun to see him use Deb (or even just to listen to the little slut's moans from the next room). But if he's truly resistant, perhaps it's best to back off...
Does Alice press her offer?
