Miranda’s fuming

As Winter let Mark in on their secret history, Miranda was outside East Hall, slapping the palm of her hand against the brick wall. She was furious, absolutely devastated.

After being charged for **** when she was 18, the busty blonde had done everything she could to bury that part of her past. She didn’t want her friends at college to look at her and think of what she had been through. It’s why she had placed so much time in putting Winter down and basically blackmailing her into being quiet about the incident.

As she tried holding in her tears, Bryce joined her coming up from behind and patting her on the shoulder lightly.

“Whats going on M,” he asked her, genuinely concerned for her.

She didn’t respond at first, just focusing on controlling her emotions and not having another outburst in front of him or anyone else for that matter.

Bryce was surprised for Winter to reveal in front of them all that Miranda had a past history with the police, resulting in a criminal record.

“Come on, it’s alright, you’re not the first one around here to have a brush up with the cops. You should see some of the guys records from the football team,” Bryce said, trying to make her feel better.

It was a nice try, an A+ for effort but it did little to help Miranda’s mindset.

“Yeah well I’m not a guy Bryce,” she said firmly turning around to face him.

Two things were going on in her fairly simple mind right now. One part of her wanted to get her **** on Winter, messing with her for revealing her secret to others on campus. But another part of her, a more compassionate side to her, wanted to forgive. Not only that but to become a nicer person in general because acting this way was the reason why she was in this position in the first place.

She couldn’t bare to discuss this any further, the last thing the controversial blonde wanted to speak about the details of her **** on a police officer years ago.

It would be a long night for Miranda.

Meanwhile…

Mark and Winter had just had one of their first heart to heart chats in quite some time.

Letting him in on that private secret she was **** to talk to someone about, Winter now felt a lot more relaxed as if a weight was lifted off her shoulders. The weight of her massive rack was enough stress for her body, let alone the imaginary guilt she was also carrying on her shoulders.

“Well, I guess I should probably leave you, I’m sure you don’t want me hanging around too late,” Mark finally said, getting off the bed.

There was a silent pause, just for a moment. Winter waited before she finally spoke up, “You could stay you know.”

Mark stopped on his way to the door of the room. He was wondering if she would prevent him from leaving, luckily for him, she did.

“Stay the night? In Nat’s bed?” he asked her.

“Or mine. I mean I dunno, I don’t care, just up to you,” she said, trying to play it off as it meant nothing.

Mark smiled. Should he take up the offer? Would it make things weirder between the two or was this the start of healing things between them?
