“If it was me I'd pick ‘Eye of the Beholder’ but that's probably just the horniness talking,” she admitted with a **** smile.

“You don’t think I should get the other one so I could delete everyone?” you asked.

“Of course not! And I think you're just asking me so that you feel less guilty when you do decide not to take it” she declared, with a hint of frustration in her voice. “You really expect me to believe that you would give up having six women under your control when your girlfriend is completely on board with the idea?” she replied, looking at you as if daring to prove her wrong.

“Fine, fine. But if it all goes horribly wrong I’m blaming you” you teased back, knowing she was right. You still had to choose though and although you weren't gonna delete any current subjects there could be a time in the future where deleting someone new or reverting someone to a previous level could be a good idea. In the end, you felt you either needed more time or another perk point before making a choice.

With new subjects on your mind, you decided to finally switch the registration process from automatic to manual. From looking at the info from a couple days ago, this meant that you couldn't register someone unless you set a time beforehand in which it would occur. You doubted it would matter but with you probably heading to a crowded movie theatre later it would be best to change it now. Plus six subjects were enough for you at the moment, you were stretching yourself a bit thin even before Grace so your schedule would be pretty packed.

Emma didn't seem surprised when you chose not to pick an option but raised her eyebrows when you opened the shop. You had told her about its general functionality yesterday but you hadn't gone through any specific user upgrades with her. You had wanted her opinion on what you think you should buy but you decided to quickly check some of the totals and then

phrase the question a little differently.

“So in total, I’ve got 86 points left but from all of the level ups and achievements you were involved in, I think you should get a subject upgrade if you want one or a few. Plus if you refuse to let go of my arm, I’m gonna get even more points to spend” you advised, attempting to wiggle your arm only for her to hold you even tighter.

Your hope was that she would give you some ideas without you having to ask her directly. You could tell that she wanted you to make more decisions on your own instead of deferring to her but you were a little overwhelmed for choice and making snap decisions was something you were slowly working on anyway.

Emma asked about what you had previously chosen and you gave her a quick rundown of the few things you had bought and how it felt when they were activated. The fact that you had only bought three things from the shop made it look a little suspicious but Emma also seemed to be having trouble deciding what to buy.

“I think I’ll go with ‘Increased Intelligence’ if that's good with you?” she responded.

“Any particular reason?” you asked.

“Well, If I get intelligence now, won’t that help me make a better decision on any other upgrades I make. Plus it's the only one that will probably help me with school” she explained.

“That… makes a lot of sense actually” you replied in surprise. You should have thought that yourself all things considered which was probably an indication you should have upped that stat straight away as well.

“That's probably because you were still thinking with your dick instead of your head. Don’t worry, you’ll figure out sooner or later that I’m that smart one” she teased, earning a flick to her forehead from you.

“Says the girl asking for help with her homework” you grinned as she rubbed her head where you flicked her. Without giving her time to give another sassy comeback, you turned back to your phone and bought a subject and user intelligence upgrade for 5 and 10 points each.

Neither of you wanted to buy anything else without the upgrade added so you decided to add them both now and go back to the shop after.

“Hopefully this will help me figure out my Lucy problem” you mumbled.

“The underwear stuff?” she asked, getting a nod from you before you navigated to your pages on the KDK.

There wasn’t much extra information in the description so you just confirmed the upgrades, starting with Emma and then yourself just in case you couldn't carry on after completing yours.

Both of you winced at the pain and Emma slightly dug her nails into your arm as it hit her but once again, it was less painful than previous upgrades. You didn't know when your tolerance would get to a point that it no longer hurt but hopefully, it was sooner rather than later. After the discomfort went away you made sure Emma was okay before confirming if either of you noticed any changes. You both had trouble putting it into words but there was a feeling of swiftness in your thoughts as if you were reaching conclusions quicker than you were before.

You weren't sure if it affected your memory yet without testing but you both presumed it did give the ‘general’ description of the upgrade. Even your problem with Lucy didn't seem as alarming as before once you started thinking about it. It would be too risky for Lucy to go to Mom about you having Sarah’s underwear as you could always throw it back onto her by asking why she was snooping in your room in the first place. Mom would probably be concerned about your Mother son activities being potentially revealed and even if you confessed to having them, Mom would probably give you a lighter punishment than usual. Emma seemed to agree with you as you went over your thoughts but she did add that you should probably give into Lucy’s demands if she had any, just to placate her.

Now that your immediate worries were sorted out you felt the tension drain out of you that you didn't even know had accumulated. With a more relaxed posture, you and Emma settled back down to once again go through the shop when a new notification displayed on your phone.

Both you and Emma were glad for the intelligence boost as you tried to wrap your head around the confusing ‘subject’ wording before you eventually seemed to figure it out and started to explain.

“Let's say I activate it and you stood naked in front of me, Sarah and Lucy. I would see you as I’m the User but Sarah and Lucy wouldn't. If you touched Sarah then the effect would be broken for the rest of the 2 hours and she would be able to see you but you would still be invisible to Lucy. And then if I cancel the effect or you put on some clothes then both of them would see you.”

Emma went over the rules once again before nodding her head and agreeing with the conclusion you came to.

“These actives seem to be getting more powerful than I thought they would as they go up in level. I didn't think they would start to affect other subjects either but if it's already started doing that for level 3 then I guess anything is possible for the higher ones.” she excitedly declared.

You could see her eyes once again glaze over with a vacant look as you started to fantasize but unlike before she managed to snap herself out of it and stared in your direction with a look of determination.
