...this is public intoxication, so I’m going to have to bring you in.” Her tone was hard and definitive, completely contrary to her gentle appearance. I found myself taking a step back from her as she spoke them.

I threw up my hand placatingly and pleaded, “please ma’am, I just had a few too many. I’m sorry I threw up here, but I’m really fine. Please just let me call and Uber and go home. Please.”

She quirked an eyebrow at my plea and walked slowly up to me. She circled behind and ran a manicured finger down my still raised arms, sending a shiver down my body. Gently, she lowers my arms to my sides and leaned in close to my ear. She whispered, “you’re a cutie kid. Can’t believe you’re just wandering around all alone.”

Her voice had changed once more, from the initial soft tone, to the hard authoritative one, and now sultry and seductive. I breathed in deeply to try and calm myself and caught a hint of lilacs coming from the officer and felt my tenseness evaporate.

That is, until I felt my arms roughly tugged behind my back, causing me to grunt in discomfort. Then cold metal clicked on my wrists, making me shiver for an entirely different reason than before. I whipped my head around in panic and she laughed as she pushed me towards the cop car. I tried pleading some more, but she just ignored me until I was thrust into the back seat and we started our drive.

Despite my panic, the **** took effect and I started to nod off. Just before I gave in to sleep I asked her timidly, “I’m just going to the drunk tank right? This won’t go on my record or anything?”

As my world turned black I heard her laugh cruelly this time and say, “oh I wouldn’t want to spoil the surprise!”
