Meeting the Twins

Skyler warily glanced in every direction, surveying his surroundings while walking toward his objective. After being caught off guard by Cux earlier, he was all too aware of his vulnerabilities. Luckily only a few animals were out and about, making the trip fairly uneventful. That was until he reached the edge of a small clearing. He knelt down, leaning against one of the trees nearby. He took a moment to double check his surroundings before he began to look around. He saw Shady and Emily were tied up and gagged. Shady's arms were tied behind her back and Emily was tied to the top of Shady's lower half. He wasn't sure if they were **** or paralyzed, but neither of them looked comfortable.

Before Skyler felt it was safe to move in, he saw two slender figures walking out from behind one of the trees. He used Observe on them while backing up slowly, trying to become less visible. Immediately after, a new yellow exclamation flashed that he allowed to pop up.

Skyler's eyes watched carefully as Cyanis stepped out first. She had a rather cute round face, round eyebrows, and full pouty midnight black lips. This paired oddly well with her hunter green skin. Her body was covered in an off the shoulder red midriff cotton blouse and blue linen shorts. Upon closer inspection he noticed that her hair, covered in crimson red flowers, was actually the same green as her skin. Her hair was parted down the middle, stopping just above her shoulders. What really surprised him was the color of her eyes, a layered combination of white, blue, and yellow.

Following close behind was Nepeta. Although equally attractive as Cyanis, she wasn't as cute per se, but definitely prettier. She had an oval face, arched eyebrows, and slender crimson red lips. Those lips stood out to him, as if asking for special attention, in contrast of her petal white skin. She was clad in a green cotton blouse and black skirt. Her hair was covered in black flowers, but was the same color as her skin. It was done up in a classic bob, parted on the right side, reaching a little beyond her earlobes. Her eyes reminded him of his hazel eyes, but instead of being green and brown, hers were pink and grey.

Skyler's eyes looked toward their observed information. 'So Cux was in charge of these two beauties? I wonder if they were slaves of subordinates.' His eyes moved to look over the quest. 'Huh. So it may be possible to rescue them without anyone getting hurt. That would be great.' He just had to think of a way to rescue them without being seen. Hmm, perhaps negotiations would be better. While in thought, he moved a little closer and stepped on a twig, snapping it in two.

Cyanis turned around while lifting her right hand to the middle of her chest as if to grip a handle while her other hand laid against it at a forty-five degree angle, a large brown mushroom appeared in the shape of a shield while Nepeta simultaneously lifted up her hands and twirled twice, causing about twenty petals to appear around her body before flying into the tree he had been beside. Cyanis yelled out. "Come out where we can see you. If you don't, I promise the next volley won't miss." Immediately after she started to giggle. "Well, too late. Time to play!" Nepeta gently bopped the top of Cyanis's head while shaking her head.

Cyanis stuck out her tongue while glancing at Nepeta. "Ugh, you're such a sunflower." She turned her attention back to where she heard the twig breaking earlier. "You have five seconds to come out. One." Skyler's eyes widened as he looked at the damage done to the tree. Those petals were razor thin, about four inches long, and three inches wide. The only reason he knew this was because they had sunk about half their length into the bark. "Two." This increased his desire to avoid a confrontation. He didn't want to know what getting hit by one would feel like, but time was running out. "Three."

Skyler let out a heavy breath. Hopefully he wasn't about to put his foot in his mouth, but here goes nothing. "I don't want to fight." He stepped out into the clearing. "I just want to get my friends back." Cyanis started to pout while lowering her shield, revealing a rapier shaped mushroom pointing in his direction. "Oo, you're out of luck. If you want them. You'll have to fight us." Nepeta's body started to slowly sway as if listening to an unknown beat. Several white petals like earlier began to swirl around her. His eyes followed those petals before returning their focus to the women before him. This would be a rather difficult fight if he slipped up.

Skyler wasn't completely against fighting women, but that was something he wanted to avoid even if it wasn't for that quest. He lifted his hands up to show he was unarmed. This left him with only one quick and peaceful way to continue. Sadly, it relied on whether or not they disliked Cux. It was a gamble, but it was better than nothing. "Look, I'm a little tired after fighting a goblin. I rather not fight you two as well." Nepeta looked to Cyanis before stepping forward. Her voice was almost too soft for him to hear. "Did this goblin have reddish brown skin and a scar across the bridge of his nose?"

Skyler tilted his head as he listened. 'Cux had reddish brown skin, but did he have a scar across the bridge of his nose?' His eyes looked from side to side as he searched his memory. It wasn't long before it popped into his head. Cux did indeed have a scar across the bridge of his nose. That was until he removed Cux's head all together. Luckily they didn't ask if he was still alive. He looked off to the side while thinking of Cux's head exploding. "Um, he did..." Cyanis's and Nepeta's score shot up to 25. Cyanis smiled real big. "Oh shit. Are you saying that little shit stain is dead? Please tell me he's dead."

Skyler felt a wave of relief wash over him upon seeing that Cyanis was pleased with the prospect of Cux's demise. "Yeah, he is definitely dead." He looked back where he came from and pointed. "If you don't believe me. I left his headless body laying on the ground about five minutes that way." Nepeta moved her hands to the back of Cyanis's neck, moving the hair out of the way. It was clear that she was looking for something, but he had no idea what it was. During this time, Cyanis glared at him. "I'll be so pissed if you're lying." After a moment, Nepeta moved back with a wide smile upon her face. "It's gone." Cyanis's eyes widened, turning to hug Nepeta tightly as they both excitedly giggled. He started to lower his hands. 'Thank goodness.'

After their quick hug, Cyanis lowered her shield and rapier as her score shot up to 50. They quickly shrunk, melding into her body. She walked over to Skyler. "Don't you dare move." He lifted a brow while raising his hands once again. "You got it." When she reached him, she grabbed him by the collar. "Here's your reward." Before he could react, she pulled him into a deep kiss. Her tongue penetrated his mouth forcefully. Her lips were extremely soft, like that of a petal. He was quite surprised, but knew it wouldn't be wise to argue. He closed his eyes to simply enjoy that kiss. After about a minute of kissing, she let go. "Mm, that's for killing him, mister."

Skyler felt stupefied. His hands began to lower once again. "I, I see. Um, I've never kissed anyone without knowing their name first before. So, um, what do I call you?" Cyanis playfully grinned as she hugged him tightly and nuzzled her cheek against his chest. "Hehe, lucky me. I stole one of your firsts. I'm Cyanis." She took one of his hands and pointed it at Nepeta, who was working on untying Shady and Emily. "That's my twin sister, Nepeta. She's painfully quiet. Isn't that right?" Nepeta turned when her name was called. She had just finished untying Shady and Emily. When the final rope was undone, his quest turned itself in.

Sadly, Skyler didn't have a chance to read any of that. Nepeta's actions drew his attention when she bowed her head to him. "My apologies for being so quiet. Um, thank you for killing Cux. Really." He smiled softly as he shook his head. "Think nothing of it. I'm just glad to know it did more good than I expected." Cyanis started to pout as her score ticked down to 45. "What's your name handsome?" He blinked when he saw her score ticked down. However, he was even more confused by her off the cuff compliment. "I'm Skyler. It's a pleasure to meet you both."

Cyanis giggled. "Skyler, mm. I like it." Skyler wasn't sure what Cyanis meant by that, but their were more important matters on his mind. He looked over to Shady and Emily. Now that they had been rescued. What should he do now? Should he take this opportunity to leave and begin training by himself? Or should he wait until Shady and Emily were back to normal first?
