A VIP wants Kim´s help to prank her sister

Passing by a sweaty Minotaur and sidestepping the mess that was the undead communal bath, Kim rolled over the screening door to the private VIP spa in Morpheus’s resort.

There was a …was it a woman? lying down on a table and getting massaged by a giant octopus. Her skin was like the night sky …literally. Kim could see stars twinkling all over her voluptuous body. By contrast, her flowing hair glowed with the intensity of a supernova. To make matters freakier, she had a couple of stars instead of eyes.

Yep, she was a VIP alright, one of the cosmically big shots. The naked Kim felt even smaller than usual in her presence. What did she want with-

“Oh, you are the human I heard so much about?” The woman lifted her head to stare at Kim. Her movements had some sort of afterimage to them. Weird.

“Errr, yeah. I’m Kim. What can I help you with?” Kim said, squeezing her fingers and bending over herself a bit. It was kind of intimidating to be stared at by two white suns.

“No need to be shy. Come, join me! I need your help with a prank.” Oh, great, a prank. It was going to be one of those days.

“Hi Frank,” Kim said hello to her coworker as she sat at the table next to the woman. The octopus began to roll his tentacles around the human’s shoulders. “Oh, no thanks. Me and tentacles don’t get alooooooong… Wow, wow. I didn’t know the suction cups could do that! Never mind, keep going…”

“Ehem,” The cosmic woman tugged at Kim’s arm, her star-eyes looking like red giants.

“Oh, sorry. What can I do for you, miss…?”

“My name is Suc'ziys’@#%!#►-”

“…”

“Err, are you ok, human? Your eyes kind of rolled in the back of your head there.”

Kim blinked. What was she doing? Where was she? Oh right…“Did you say something? I think my brain blacked out for a second, miss… “Suc…y... zerr… is it ok for if I call you Suzy instead?”

“Sure, that sounds lovely, dear. So here’s the deal, take a look at this.” Suzy waved her hand in a circle. A vision appeared amidst a cloud of purple smoke.

There was another woman, a human, walking down busy city streets. She had olive skin, braided dark hair, and a determined look on her brown eyes. Wearing an impeccable black dress and heels, she seemed to be on her way to conduct some business.

“This is, Ner’yev#… you know what? Let’s just call her Neve. She’s my baby sister.”

“I see. She seems …different?”

“I know, right! As a prank, I cursed her to become human for a thousand years. Can you imagine how awful that is?”

Kim rubbed her arm apprehensively. “…Yeah …it must suck to be human…”

“Meant no offense, dear. However, my sister hates it! Or she did… Lately, she seems to have gotten used to the whole human thing. Look at her with that dumb smirk. Ugh, talk about annoying. So…?

“So?” Kim asked, looking at Suzy with some worry. Her star-eyes had become blue with excitement.

“So that’s where you come in! Tell me how to prank my little sister, make her squirm a bit. What would a human girl hate?”

“I…hm-m… Sorry, but I rather not get involved in your sibling squabble.…” Kim closed her eyes and braced for impact. In her experience, cosmic beings didn’t take rejection very well. But, getting involved in their feuds was a sure-fire way to even more pain down the line.

“Squabble? ...Don’t worry, it’s just good-natured ribbing between sisters. We prank each other all the time! Like, before I turned her into a human, Neve trapped me in the realm of perpetual pinching for all eternity.”

“Oh wow, that sounds awful. How did you escape?”

“Escape? I don’t understand.”

“You said she trapped you in the realm of perpetual pinching? Well, you aren’t there now, so...?”

Suzy waved her hand at Kim like it was no big deal. “That was an eternity ago. Now, back to the present, how can we mess with my little sister? Any ideas?”

Should Kim get involved with this? It didn’t seem like the best of ideas. On the other hand, Frank’s suction cups were doing wonders sucking the stress off her tired back. Maybe she should stay a while longer and enjoy the VIP treatment…No, decency first! “Sorry, but it doesn’t seem like a good idea to-“

“I know about your situation with Morpheus. The more you help me with my sister, the more I’ll pay you.”

“What do you say?”

“So you want to embarrass your sister, right? Easy peasy...”
