Looks like whoever built this rail network in the mines had done it in such a way to turn the luck back in Texas and April's favour. As the cart rolled downhill, it eventually reached the dip, the rails going back up again...for about, two metres before the two found themselves flying in the air. Seemed there had been a collapse in the mines, the tracks gone over this dangerous gorge, with the other end of the track only just poking through on the other side. The two law girls quickly held onto each other and screamed, all the while Georgia and Roxxie's tracks both hit the dip and just made 90 degree turns the other directions, the two large criminal gals losing their prizes in the process. Texas and April both closed their eyes, hoping that their minecart had enough momentum to reach the end of the other mine-track.

The sound of metal slamming onto metal was followed up by the the being thrown to the floor of the minecart. April and Texas panted and gasped for breath, the two looking at each other, shakily pushing themselves back up to see that they were on track...then they looked around and didn't see any other tracks nearby. April and Texas both let out a sigh of relief, and slumped against the wall of the minecart. The two looked at each other, smiles growing on their faces as they tried to catch their breath, they couldn't believe their luck with that. But it might just run out before they even left the mines, because suddenly the minecart slid out from the darkness of the mines and into the open sun. The two were briefly blinded by the sudden intrusion of light, groaning before they felt a whole lot more weightless as the minecart crashed into the buffers at the end of the track. The sheriff and her deputy both yelped and screamed respectively as they were tossed into the sky, before the two of them landed on the ground, kicking up dust around them from the impact.

Texas and April groaned as they laid where they had landed, both of them not exactly having a painless experience being flung from their cart so quickly. The two looked up and saw...
