The Wonder Woman

Diana wanted answers. Her homeworld, the planet of Amazonia, had fallen under the control of a group called the Sirens of Lust; judging by the information she'd been able to gather with the help of the Justice Knights, they were also the group responsible for seizing Tamaran and openly defying the Doom Empire. This was either a very dangerous or very foolish group of people, and if the information SHIELD had given the Justice Watchtower was accurate, it was the former.

Diana had clashed with members of the group before; they were all formidable foes individually, and if they were all working together, she knew she'd need help retaking her home. Unfortunately, the Justice Knights were quite busy investigating the recent dealings between LexCorp and Latveria. Additionally, no man was able to set foot on the surface of Amazonia, making it impossible for the men of the Justice League to help retake the planet.

With that in mind, Diana recruited M'gann M'orzz, an expert telepath, Green Lantern Jessica Cruz, her wife Jade, master sorceress Zatanna Zatara, and Raven, whose considerable psychic and magic powers could very well be a major difference maker against the Sirens... provided she could control them. In addition, fellow Amazons Cassie Sandsmark, Artemis and Donna Troy had all eagerly volunteered to help Diana retake her homeworld. A powerful team, to be sure, but they'd need more. Any **** powerful enough to enslave a race as strong-willed as the Amazons was going to be extremely difficult to take down.

Luckily for Diana, she'd found potential allies in her search for Koriand'r, the exiled Tamaranean princess, as a possible teammate; she'd found that she'd found refuge amongst the Queens of X. The Queens were among the galaxy's most powerful telepaths. If anyone could help her break the mental hold the Sirens had over the Amazons, it was them.

Diana wasn't overly familiar with the Queens of X; she'd met them before during past contests of champions, and she certainly found them incredibly gorgeous, but until now, she'd seen them as rivals, not potential allies. From that limited experience, though, there was little doubt that working alongside them would mean they'd no doubt end up in bed together at some point. Diana smiled as the possibility crossed her mind.

The Wonder Woman made her way to the watchtower comm room and sent a call to the Hellfire. She was met by Betsy Braddock, the Red Queen, who answered the call.

"Diana, princess of Themyscira. It's an honor to speak with you outside of the contest," Betsy cordially greeted Diana.

"The honor is all mine, Red Queen," Diana answered, leering at the purple-haired beauty's hologram. "I have business I'd like to discuss with you..."

"I assume it has to do with the fall of Amazonia," Betsy deduced. "We were very sorry to hear about what happened. We're rather troubled by these 'Sirens' ourselves..."

"That's right," Diana said. No doubt SHIELD -- or someone within the group -- had informed them of the Queens of the Sirens, which would make convincing them to help much easier. "I'm in search of allies to retake my home. I'd heard you were harboring a friend of mine..."

Betsy nodded her head. "Yes, Princess Koriand'r. She's told us about Tamaran's plight. Given Blackfire's involvement in the Sirens, Amazonia's fall is connected..."

"..And the Sirens aren't going to stop there. With the Amazons, they have a **** that can conquer what they can't seduce. With the Vega system under their control, they've also got the Warlords of Okaara under their control..."

For a moment, Betsy reflected on the situation. Between Doom's plans, LexCorp, and the arrival of the Sirens, there was no shortage of dangers to the galaxy as a whole, let alone the X-Alted's Queendom -- if Amazonia could fall, so could Krakoa, the crown jewel of the X-Alted Queendom.

"...which is why I'd like to discuss an alliance," Diana finished.

"I agree, this is very worrying. On behalf of the Queens, I accept your request. Meet us on our ship, the HMS Hellfire -- I'm sending you the coordinates now," Betsy said.

Diana nodded. "Thank you. I'll be there ASAP. Diana out."
