Captured by Ganon

Zelda struggled against the chains binding her to the wall. She was in a dark cell, rats skittered across the stone floor, her dress once bright and elegant was stained and ripped from the grime of the prison.

She had not been there long, not that she could tell, the cell was without windows. She had been captured by the demon king only a few hours ago and manacled to the wall before she had even regained consciousness. She had been knocked out by Ganondorf himself when he had taken the throne room. By now, she knew the whole city must be under his rule.

Her only hope at his point was Link, she knew he was out there somewhere, even if they had yet to meet. That was the common thread; there was always a princess, an adversary, and a hero. All she could do now was wait, and look for any way to escape.

Zelda looked up as she heard heavy footsteps outside the door of her cell.
