In the Dark

You open your eyes and look around. It is nearly pitch black in the basement. However, you can see just fine.

You feel good. Your senses seem sharper than ever before. You hear a field mouse scamper away outside. You hear the tiny footfalls of ants marching in the kitchen upstairs.

You smell the mildew from the basement, but also pollen from plants outside. You pause. There is something else that smells good.

You lick your lips and realize your mouth is parched. You are very thirsty. Your gums feel strange. You run your tongue along them and you find your canines have grown long and sharp.

You head up the stairs to the outside door. You open it. It is dusk outside. The brightness bothers you and you squint. In front of you Alexa grins.

“Hello Jack. How do you feel?”

“Good.” You growl. “What did you do to me?”

Before your eyes Alexa begins to change. Her skin becomes bright red and a spaded tail grows from the bottom of her spine. Her feet crack and become hooves. Her breasts grow into giant half melons. She closes her blue eyes and when she opens them they are orange, with reptilian slits.

“I gave you power, Jack. I stole Gwen’s demonic essence. Once we kill her, it will be mine forever. You do want to help me kill her, don’t you, Jack?”

You are torn. You loved Gwen. You have no desire to kill her. On the other hand, you feel the need to please Alexa and the thought of killing excites you in a strange new way.

“If course, Alexa.”

“Wonderful. Kill her and I’ll let you fuck me.”

You grin. A little added incentive never hurts.

“And, I have a surprise for you, Jack.”
