Meeting Velvet's team...apparently

After coming to terms about where each other stand and getting dressed I order Blake to leave the library and get cleaned with out getting noticed as the bodily fluids on her will most likely cause attention in the rest of our classes. I was just about ready and willing to head to my room and take a nap to refresh myself after a shower as I already have another thin layer of sweat on me. But, getting out the library doors I notice again another set of eyes on me.

I immediately turn around to see nothing this time. I know I felt nothing watching me in the library before Blake left, so this is someone new. I would investigate but right now I have done nothing of suspicion so I won't give any or run the risk of others seeing what I do.

I finished my classes not much happened out of the usual Blake looking neutral as ever like I didn't just have my way her, Pyrrah doing her work slightly distracted, Yang same as ever only now just throwing a few looks my way, Weiss doing the same but throwing me dirty looks instead, Ren very neutral, Nora focused in her work and Ruby neutral if not distressed. It was boring not much difficulty anymore.

I make my way to my dorm passing a few students ready to relax a bit til my collar gets yanked.

"Gak!"

I make a small coughing fit.

"Cardin I swear if that's you or his lackeys I'm braking something this time." I give fair warning as I turn around

"Yeah not quite and if you're smart you wouldn't try it." A girl pretty girl was there wearing an outfit that looked like it cost more than I ever had.

"That is some outfit you have." I say aloud

She stood there sizing me up?

She enters my personal almost as if she testing me to actually try to live up to my threat, even with my current lasting boosts I subconsciously step back.

"Uh sorry I thought you may have been someone else." I apologized

"I'm sure." She replies then just stands there expecting something of me

"So did you want something or-."

"You're Jaune Arc right." She says sounding as if she didn't need confirmation

I nodded still confused

"Yeah and you ar- aaand we're going somewhere where are we going?" She grabs my tie leading me somewhere through the halls catching eyes on the way to somewhere

I was ignored til we got to what I assume is her dorm room. She takes out her scroll unlocking the door the brings me again pulling me in. I was half tempted to boost obedience just to get some answers, but I was tired and wasn't gonna take risks without planning or being on my terms. So, I attempted talking again to get answers for whatever is happening.

"Ok I've been patient enough and probably pretty dumb just to allow myself to get dragged here but I need answers as to who you are, why I am here and what I'm doing here." I say keeping my temper

"Just wait a bit." She tells me sitting on a bed one leg over the over hands behind her leaning back

"Ok look I don't if this is a prank, some kind of bullying, or a way of picking guys up, but I'm tired so if I'm not getting answers I'll just be on my way to take shower and nap." I tell her making my way to the door

"No you're not." She tells me

"You could try this again another day or something but I'm gonna just go." I tell her

I make my way through the open door looking back seeing she isn't getting up till I walk into something that felt sturdier than the door. I look forward to seeing green and black clothes with a exposed heavily muscled bicep I move my head up seeing a goliath of a man I would refuse to believe is a student looking back down at me.

"Ah. Yatsuhashi good timing you too Fox." I could hear from behind me

I slowly backed up out the bigger man's way I believe is called Yatsuhashi followed by another man covered in scars and completely white eyes.

All armed in combat gear it seems, I know none of these people, I'm in their room with no explanation. They seem to know me, I am not armed nor ready to fight I am confused and nervous in short I am beyond concerned going through any possible reason why I'm here one being they know my semblance. I am at every possible disadvantage. I was actually sweating and subconsciously boosting my strength then without thought too confused right now asked the dumbest thing that came to mind.

"Am I getting jumped?"

The silence did not give any reassurance.

"Ahahaha! I get the concern but THAT'S what comes to your mind first." Coco laughs

Followed by a sigh/groan from Fox

"No need to be concerned, we harbor no ill will towards you." Yatsuhashi says relieving me a bit

"Quite the opposite in fact, we wanted to meet you personally and give our thanks." Fox followed

"Yeah, you can relax blondy I brought you here after seeing what you did with Cardin and we really appreciate it." Coco left off

"Oh well you're welcome I guess but was this necessary I mean not many people like him but was this necessary." I asked

"You kidding as a fellow team leader it's only right I give proper respect and thanks when someone goes out of there way to help one my own members." Coco stood up placing a opened hand on her ample chest referring to herself

"Wait excuse me but what d-"

*CLICK*

I was cut off by the opening of the door everything clicking together as I see who walked in.

"Sorry for the delay I was held up modifying the the projection in BAH!" Velvet walked in noticing my presence

"Ooook so this is why I'm here." As things became clear

"That's right." Coco walked over throwing an arm over Velvets shoulder who was red and remained silent

"You saved our little bun from an asshole and his lackeys."

"We were glad someone looked out for her and that it was resolved without much conflict." Yatsuhashi added

"Kinda wish you skipped the warning and just broke their arms, but I'll fix that later." Coco says

"Why didn't you guys do something about it if you knew what was happening."

"We all would but our schedules keep us separated and this girl stays behind and does extra work on her little secret project at every given moment and refuses to fight her lower classmen, beside the video we haven't even seen Velvet since this morning."

"If you are just now seeing her how did you know about what happended?"

"Well the messages aside..." She trails off pulling out her scroll showing me a recording of the confrontation of me and CRDL, along with me fighting fighting a grimm in Port's class

'Well that's something I guess.'

"Huh. What messages?"

"The ones Velvet has been explain about the knight in armor that scared away four bullies and tried to make friends."

"COCO!?" A madly blushing Velvet squeaked out

"So naturally when I heard the news I sent Fox here to spy on you after you left the cafeteria and make sure you weren't looking for any favors or that you were not going to actually get jumped by CRDL when you were alone."

"Wait was that you outside the library?"

"Hmm." A simple nod and hum in confirmation

"Hot damn Fox caught by a second year, you lost your touched."

"In any case we wished to thank you face to face and would like to offer any help if a time comes when we could return you kindness." Yatsuhashi came up bringing us back to topic

"Yeah we're glad you helped, but that Cardin guy looks like the kind that holds grudges." Coco adds

"Oh I hope he does I can handle them if they get dumb enough to try anything." I say ready and confidently

"Oooh I like this one." Coco says amused.

"And I think Velvet agrees."

Causing Velvet to go red again.

"Oh sorry I didn't mean to come off like that I just." I got actually got embarrassed

"Oh wow a perfect match if you ask me." Coco goes on

"Shouldn't we be going now." Velvet moans

"Yeah yeah I suppose."

"Go where?" I ask

"We're doing some team training and some sparing in the battle practice arenas gonna prepare for the upcoming tournament."

A smile crossed my lips, "You guys mind if I come along?"

They all turned back looking as if I just became insane.

"Liking the enthusiasm, but no offence you may be a little green for this."

"Oh come on it's just training there's not much harm and if I get warn down too much I'll just call it a day."

They exchanged looks before agreeing to this. We made our way to arenas I lagged behind to go get changed quickly. When I returned they were preparing to start not yet waiting on me.

"Ok so since we have blondy we're not gonna be able to do the usual practice matches so I'm thinking blondy and Velvet can team up and face another member." She looked at Velvet saying that adjusting her shades

Fighting against my seniors, this will be great chance to push myself with my semblance against powerful opponents.
