Love Taps 2: CFVY

"Oh, actually I was hoping to get a taste of what your whole team can do." I say aloud

"Blondy I get your eagerness after being on a roll today, but you may want to pump the brakes. Besides we don't have the time and your don't have what it takes to fight all of us individually." Coco reasons

"Actually, I am suggesting a four on one fight." I say calmly

"Yeah now I know you're either crazy or rude if you think you can just take on all of us." Coco says plainly

"You shouldn't let your sense of pride make such decisions." Yatsuhashi placed a hand on my shoulder

"You have such a way with words." I honestly replied

"But I'm not being prideful, I don't mean to diss you, your team, or skills. In fact I know I'm gonna lose if not regret this entire day with this choice." I tell them with all honesty

"You are suggesting something along the lines of a Kobayashi Maru then?" Fox spoke up causing us all to look at him

"Yes." I answer

"What is that?" Velvet asks

"Yeah gonna need an explanation here."

"It's from different languages but it's most known definition ,can often refers to completely and utterly failing." Yatsuhashi explains

"It essentially means it's a problem that can't be solved or in this case a fight he can't win." Fox simplified

"Not sure how you know that but more importantly why are you suggesting this if you can't and know you can't win."

"I read it in a book and it isn't about winning it's about how seeing how I measure up against more or less impossible odds. As a team leader I'd like to test myself and open my mind to possibilities improving by fighting a team with seemingly various skill sets." I say mental boost still in affect apparently

"Huh yeah I could respect that mindset and bravery but your actions are questionable. So I hope you can put up a fight." Coco compliments

"Thank you. It will also give insight to what I should strive to be by fighting a team leader and her team." I add

"Now before we start does anyone have any have any issues." Coco called out

Looking around I see a indifferent look on Fox, neutral on Yatsuhashi, and a concerned one on Velvet. They all seem to have their their own thoughts on this, but none spoke up on the matter.

"OK! On the floor and get ready to beat up a kid!" Coco shouts

Yeah that won't be going as well as you may think.

I make my way to the center of the ring each member of CFVY dawning their weapons except Velvet: a pair of wrist blades no mechanisms, a broad sword, and handbag so 2 close range fights a mid to close range fighter and a possible close to range fighter.

"Alright guys try to hold back, but show blondy what you can do." Coco makes one last call

"Hah! I'd be insulted if you do." I say back

Coco was the first to charge at me swinging her bag. It wad funny to see and easy to dodge the first two swings with a back step then side step and the third with a raise of my hand catching her bag on the studded corner making me slightly twinge in pain. Still standing she tries to pull her weapon bag back, I tighten my grip keeping her weapon in place. As a show of confidence I smiled down at her, she smiled back confusing me til she reached forward grabbing my hoodie.

"FOX!" She called

I immediately heard rapid approaching steps from the left. Making me whip out my shield between us just in time to feel quick continuous strikes starting to make me lose my balance. Than a heeled boot finds its way into my gut with enough **** to leave me mid-air.

"Yatsuhashi!" I heard then I see a orange blade moving in a downward strike at me

Thanks to my earlier boosting when I was first "called" into their room my arms where just strong enough to stop the swing by grabbing the sides of the with all my strength. I saved myself from getting hit by the edge, but I was still sent to the ground very hard.

"G-grr" I grunted ignoring my aching back

"Woah, you are just full of surprises huh kid?"

I'd say something back but had had nothing to spare as it was all being used keeping a sword bigger than myself from devastating me. With what knowledge and strength I have in me I throw the blade to the side while rolling the other way, then kicking myself up I put distance between myself and everyone raising my shield.

All four infront of me two on guard, one hesitant, and the last one more confident grinning an annoying smirk. I barely started but I am already regretting this and my heart is racing from how much more out classed I feel. My back aches and sore arms slowly going away and right now my sword still sheathed and shield extended hiding my glowing hand on my chest boosting my whole body physically.

"Getting cold feet already, we barely started and we haven't broke a sweat." Coco trash talks

I raise my hand to my head running it through my hair pour a lot of aura into mental boosting everything over all putting a little more in my mental processing and tranquility. My heart beat settles, my breathing normalized, my whole body relaxed, my face settled in a neutral expression almost bored like. I probably give a (pre and post boosted) Ren and (pre boosted) Blake look, but I feel so much stronger than when I boosted myself when I fought Yang.

I take my hand off my face showing them a different different person. I am noticed by all of them if the looks of mild interest, caution, suspicion, the tightening grip on weapons and settling in their battle stances were anything to go on.

"That's big talk for someone facing an opponent that hasn't fought back yet...or drawn their sword." I say pulling out my blade

"Everyone on guard!" Fox yelled out

I rush forward thrusting my sword dead center on Coco's chest stopped by Fox pushing her out the way his arm hit knocking him off balance I out the corner of my eye see the bright orange blade swinging down I grab Fox and jump back leaving someone in my place of the on coming attack. Fox going down but not out has stunned Yatsuhashi in surprise long enough to get two swings at him before I had to withdraw from the hail of bullets coming from a large mini gun held by Coco.

Normally I'm sure I'd be panicked at the absurd change and size of such weaponry like with ruby but thanks to the extra tranquility boost I remained calm under pressure to move, my boosted mental processing made me able to see every shot that left the chamber as it neared me, and my full body boost made me capable of evading and blocking every shot. She was **** to stop when Velvet attempted a sneak attack from behind.

Velvet despite her initial timid and passive personality she was fierce in a fight. Her attack began with light steps behind only able to tell once the hail of bullets died down allowing me to hear the taps behind me raising my guard to only catch a glimpse of her in the air leg raised in high kick that I had to raise my shield for the impact and felt it through to my legs. She jumped off landing in front of me catching my attention leaving an opening for the massive hand of Yatsuhashi to wrap around my neck. I could feel the unbelievably tight grip holding me in place.

I didn't know what to expect but it was not for him to just hold me there while Velvet and a up Fox took shots at me. Velvet's soft timid nature did not show in her strikes and from what little I saw through the hits her and Fox's movements were perfectly in sync not in timing but they're movements were identical. Timing the strikes I thrusted my shield forward as Velvet threw her punch making her wince buy me a second to return my shield to a scabbard swing it at Fox, kicking Velvet with both feet away, and jam my sword behind me where I assume a face would be.

*GASP* I take as large gasps of air as I could.

"cheap shots. cheap shots." I weakly call out

"Mine won't be." I hear Coco call out

Hearing the sound a spinning barrel I throw my shield at a recovering Velvet and sword at Coco throwing off her aim. When she started firing she got both Fox and Yatsuhashi taking Fox out of the fight. I charge Coco grabbing the mini gun returning her earlier kick taking hold of her weapon then hitting her with it sending her back. I aim and let loose a few rounds ay the quiet giant leaving him just above the elimination limit when he started blocking with his sword. When a reload or it jamming started he took charge at me sword behind him ready to swing then with all my strength I chuck the weapon hitting Yatsuhashi square in the head taking him down at the very least physically. Leaving one armed and three unarmed combatants and the one skilled, one not so much, and me with a almost half empty aura and a tempted mind to get two hot upper class men.

"Ok kid I'll hand it to you. You sure know how to handle a group." Coco says

"And you guys sure know how to make "holding back" feel so overwhelmingly exhausting." I say a feeling of fatigue setting in

"Well we can't just go all out on a single opponent that's still at a disadvantage."

This much aura boosting and damage taken put beneath them given neither side has really gave their all in the fight. They could have been more serious and I could go further on the boosting at cost of more aura.

The male team members are on side just watching their current active members circle me. My eyes were on Coco when a pair of pleasant thighs were wrapped around my head then not so pleasantly yanked me back tossing me in the air. I stuck a landing sustaining no damage but was open to the barrage of strikes Velvet threw, after gaining focus strikes were returned then became one sided again in my favor as each strike slowly boosted adoration she had for a sophomore that helped her and is capable of taking on four of his superiors at once in a fair fight. Each of my strikes making hers softer and more hesitant against me.

"Velvet!" Coco called

Velvet looked back than did a high backflip landing behind a nearby standing Coco holding a spinning barreled mini gun. With the few seconds I had I ran forward taking seven hits grabbing the gun throwing it upward then grabbing Coco's head going through her mind in guise of a head slam. With a mental processing faster than a physical movement I have little than a minute instead of seconds to go through her head. Right now I've made myself the primary subject in her mind, seeing her view of me from helping her team mate I became appreciated and associated, being a fellow team leader she saw a relation, and with a little boosting came an affinity towards me just as the back of her head landed on the ground.

"Coco!" Came from a panicked Velvet

The last thing I heard as I looked forward to see Velvet mid backflip and a pain on the bottom of my chin. I was sent into a flip myself landing back first then hearing a buzzer on my scroll calling an end to the match.

"Ah." Coco says getting up

"That's the end of the match Arc and damn did well and you got pretty close." She offered a hand to me

I took it and she pulled me up with strength that made me feel weightless. I take a look at the aura meters on the board to see Fox is barely in the red a majority of it from Yastuhashi I'm sure from the lack of attacks I personally did to him, while Yatsuhashi was almost just on the line his damage from Coco's misfire. Velvet had lost around a quarter to all of my own efforts while Coco barely lost any aura lost about 14% if aura.

You did well, you need not worry with how close victory was. Yatsuasi said with a comforting hand on my shoulder

I smile in appreciation as the others come around talk about the match.

"We should take a break right about now for the men to recharge." Coco says

"Jaune. You should probably call it a day you definitely been through the most already." Velvet says

"Yeah you did well but you took a beating and put in the work. Go rest." Coco agreed

Looking back I can tell the others agreed.

"I guess I'm outvoted then. You guys mind if I join yoy guys again sometime." I ask

"Definitely!" Called Velvet surprising everyone even herself causing a blush regretting what she just caused

"Well that answers that, it seems Bun bun wants her knight to visit again." Coco walks to my right to lean an elbow on me and pull her shades down to look at her

"Well anyways before I go allow me to do this at least." I raise my hand to Coco's head

I place my hand on her beret boosting just her aura this time. She looked at me confused while the others surprised I wasn't in pain for touching her beret. Then the glowing appeared that surprised everyone. Boosting aura beyond her full natural amount.

"What was that?" Fox asked sensing but not seeing anything

"My semblance allows me to boost another's aura by giving my own, and I have a lot it or so I've been told." I tell a truth but not the whole truth

"That is a very beneficial semblance you possess." Yatsuhashi tells me

"Yeah no kidding but sadly doesn't seem very good in a fight by yourself but it seems you can handle yourself quite well but if you ever need do an extra hand" she gestures to her team "team CFVY is always willing to help out a friend." She says

I smile at how nice that felt to hear despite any influence I may have put on her. So, I offered to replenish their auras the same way as Coco. I more or less repeated what I already showed boosting their aura while boosting their sense of association and appreciation acknowledging me as something of a new friend I was happy with the results and given the complete lack of aura I kinda had to be.

*SMACK*

"WOAH! mmmm-what the" I turn to see a very satisfied looking Coco

"Good job today blondy see ya next time." She lowered her shades and winked

"COCO! He has no aura that hurts." Velvet scolded and blushed

"It hurt him maybe but that felt great on my hand." Coco says

Quickly saying goodbye I head to the locker to get back in uniform I noticed that as I was changing there was some kind of flash I would have investigated but I had too little aura and was not going to raise suspicion of some kind if I am just changing my shirt I'm not that insecure.

I was sexually drained from Blake and beat then drained of aura by CFVY. I really needed that nap I yawn. I make my way out the locker rooms when the most irritating voice and while I'd be excited to break his ego and team in a state of no aura it was very bad news.

"Hello Jaune-y boy~" quickly followed by once again being lifted then slammed into the door behind me.

Without aura the pain stung a bit. After opening my eyes to I see Cardin and lackeys behind him all in combat gear with weapons. All I had on was my uniform with barely enough aura to get one boost on one person let alone four. My earlier physical boosts were worn to the point of useless and my mental boosts only made it clear. I couldn't power through, my defence was nonexistent, no physical boost will be enough at these odds, a mental boost me will be pointless and raise suspicion, and a mental boost on any of them will only be a big problem that will cause bigger problems. So needless to say I dug myself into the hole and tossed all my tools out in short I'm gonna die.

"Let's have a talk about this." He looks back at Sky holding my scroll showing the video I recorded of Yang.

"Aaah shit."

"No need to be upset we're still friends remember, and friends help their friends." Cardin says putting me down patting my shoulder

Ok I have a plan on how to do the last two options and will leave more options I come up with or get from you guys in the comments after writing them. They will lead to more and new options/characters in the future.
