The Day Goes Flying By

Darts, pool, video games, movies, and one freshly made pizza drained all the hours out of the day before anyone knew it. Nicole was more than pleased with the fact that Kenny and Anna were being as thick as thieves all day, normally she would have had to fight her from disappearing but Kenny was keeping her attention better than she ever could. However, Nicole wasn't the only one who noticed this, Brian quickly realized Anna wasn't giving him the time of day, and just absolutely loved doing whatever Kenny suggested to her today.

By the time the sun began to disappear behind Kaster's peak, Brian felt his temperament reaching its end and he needed to get away from Kenny. "Look, guys, I don't know about you, but I'm done with today, I think I'm just gonna call it,"

"Honestly, can't complain about that," JJ agreed with a yawn, "I'm up to just lay down and chill until I pass out,"

"Aw seriously? This movie is great," Anna pouted while the others slowly began to get to their feet,

Kenny stretched out his arms and rolled his neck, "It's cool Anna, we have a tv in the bedroom, you can just put it on upstairs,"

"Oh yeah, great thinking, Ken!" Anna happily cheered while getting up and rushing out of the room and up to their room,

"Yeah...great thinking, Ken," Brian bitterly muttered under his breath while shoving his way out of the room,

"What's his problem?" Mindy asked with a raised brow,

"Must be tired," Kenny guessed with an unsure glance at the others,

"Yeah, tired," Nicole murmured, immediately wondering what got Brian's blow flowing hot, "Whatever, let's go guys,"

The rest of the teens followed Nicole's lead, leaving the rec room and heading upstairs. As Nicole reached her bedroom she glanced over her shoulder at Mindy who stepped past her, "Where are you going?" Nicole quickly asked,

"Oh, sorry, I just have to talk to JJ really fast, be right there," Mindy replied, her voice holding a bit of a sullen tone,

"You alright?" Nicole asked with genuine concern,

"Totally fine," Mindy replied without looking back, though Nicole wasn't even slightly convinced,

"What the hell is going on with everyone all of a sudden?" Nicole asked herself with a shake of her head. The redhead opened her bedroom door before stopping looking up the hallway at Brian's door, she let out a short groan. If our host is in a shitty mood, then our whole week could be over after day one, someone's gotta talk to him.
