Chapter 29 by landmaster1234 landmaster1234

Where does Pansy want to go in Hogsmeade?

To the Three Broomsticks

"Since we've been banned from Hogsmeade," Pansy started, "the girls and I haven't been able to have anything to drink. No firewhisky, none of Madam Rosmerta's mulled mead, not even a single bottle of butterbeer." She trailed off wistfully. Hermione might have pitied her if it hadn't been for the fact that the three had been banned from Hogsmeade trips for trying to sell out Harry to Voldemort the previous year.

Pansy snapped back to reality. "We're going to the Three Broomsticks to get some drinks to bring back to the Slytherin common room!" She began to walk, and Hermione had to hurry to catch up to where they were again before the cloak slipped off her, exposing the naked woman to the village.

Hermione felt the fallen pine needles prick her feet as they walked through. She had to split her eyes between where Pansy was walking and the ground, lest she step on anything broken. If she got a cut, she'd track blood behind them.

Once they got to the bar, Hermione grabbed Pansy's shoulder.

"What?" Pansy asked, annoyed.

"They'll notice if we open the door!"

"So?"

"What do you think they'd do if they saw a door open and nobody there to do it?"

Pansy paused. "Well, I see why the professors think you're so clever. Fine. I'll give it 5 minutes, but if nobody opens the door by then, I'm taking the cloak to go inside, with or without you!"

The threat of leaving Hermione naked outside the busiest place in Hogsmeade didn't last long, however. A couple of fat wizards made their way to the bar, talking in American accents. The two girls quickly followed behind them using the open door as cover.

The bar had quite a crowd that night. Hagrid could be seen at the counter, drinking buckets of wine as Rosmerta went back and forth between the bar and the tables as quick as she could, serving a wide array of witches, wizards, hags, warlocks, and even a trio of goblins.

Pansy and Hermione carefully tiptoed to the bar, doing their best to avoid bumping into anyone. Just because they were invisible didn't mean they couldn't be felt. Hermione gripped the sides of the cloak closer.

As Rosmerta opened left the bar, Pansy tugged the cloak, pulling Hermione with her, briefly exposing the woman's completely bare leg! "Pansy!" Hermione whispered, urgency in her voice. She looked around, but it seemed that nobody had noticed this little exposure.

Pansy wasn't listening, however. She was grabbing a few bottles of Madam Rostmerta's special mulled mead, several bottles of Ogden's Old Firewhisky, and cases of butterbeer, shoving them into Hermione's bag, which was able to take everything remarkably well. "I gotta hand it to you, Granger." Pansy remarked quietly. "This indetectable extension charm is fantastic!"

"Pansy, you can't just steal that stuff!" Hermione chided. Pansy looked at Hermione.

"As you wish." She retorted. Pansy reached into Hermione's bag, grabbing a handful of gold galleons, silver sickles, and bronze knuts before depositing them below the counter.

"That's my money!" Hermione cried hoarsely, just barely not loud enough to be heard by the nearby Hagrid.

"Well, try to tell anyone here that, then!" Pansy dared.

Defeated, Hermione remained silent as Pansy led them to the doorway, waiting for the door to open again.

After another few minutes, the three goblins made their way to the door, speaking in a hushed gobbledegook. Pansy and Hermione followed closely behind them before making their way back up to the shrieking shack.

Does anything happen before they return to Hogwarts?
