Chapter 17 by landmaster1234 landmaster1234

What happens in the morning?

A tough conversation with Ginny

"What do you mean you're staying here, Hermione?!"

Hermione looked down ashamed. "I wanted to go... I really did, but-"

"Oh, but apparently you think your N.E.W.T. scores are more important than seeing Ron?!"

"It's not like that!" Hermione protests. "It's... Parkinson."

Ginny stopped. "Merlin's pants... What happened this time?"

Hermione didn't know what to say. If she told Ginny, she didn't know what she'd do, but she wanted as few people to know as possible.

She opted to tell the truth, but not the whole truth.

"The cow has **** on me..."

Ginny didn't look amused. "Really, what sort of **** could she ever have on you? What, did you secretly cheat in 1st year or something?"

Hermione looked Ginny in the eye, hoping to impress upon her just how bad this was without saying anything. "It's not that, but it's really, really bad. If it got out, I could be thrown out of the castle!"

"How bad could it be?" Ginny scoffed. "You smuggled a dragon out of the castle, you helped a 'dangerous' criminal escape, you even helped lead an entire resistance against the ministry! What on earth could be so horrible that this would be where McGonagall draws the line!"

Hermione's face dropped as she started to tear up. "I... can't say it." She began to sob.

Ginny's face softened slightly. "If the **** is that bad... how can I help?"

Hermione shook her head. "By now, they've already squirreled away the evidence in the Slytherin common room..."

"Why not ask Slughorn? Couldn't he-"

"Boys can't come up our stairs, Ginny! The Hogwarts founders didn't think males were trustworthy enough to go into the girls dorms. If that hag put it in her room, she couldn't get in!"

"Then why not tell McGonagall?"

Hermione looked at Ginny incredulously. "Wonderful idea, Ginny. Let me just tell the headmistress that the Slytherins have something that would be worth me getting kicked out of Hogwarts!"

Ginny had no other answers. "Well... I suppose I could tell the family that you're ill... Not seriously ill enough that they have to come to the castle, but that you need to be treated by Madam Pomfrey..."

Hermione was relieved. "Please do." She reached into her trunk and pulled out a book on magical ailments, turning to one specific page. "Scrofungulus... There was an outbreak here back when Charlie was still here. It's somewhat contagious, so that should keep the family away." She handed the book with the marked page to Ginny. "Here, you can read up on it while you're on the train!"

Ginny took the book. "Alright... Well... If you absolutely need me, I'm only an owl away. I've already passed my Apparition Test, so I can show up to Hogsmeade at a moment's notice."

At that, Ginny cast a feather-light charm on her trunk. "Seven years... how did it take seven years to realize we could have been doing that this whole time?" She muttered to herself as she effortlessly lifted her trunk and exited the room.

Not 5 seconds after Ginny left, an owl tapped on the window of the dorm. Hermione opened it, and the owl deposited a letter in front of her. It was simply addressed by name in a deep, green ink.

Hermione opened the envelope. Inside was a letter and... a picture of her the moment she orgasmed in front of the Slytherins. She saw her squirming in the air, humiliated, her pussy glistening in the torchlight. In the background, she could see the Fat Lady stifling laughter. "Gee... Thanks for protecting the Gryffindors..." Hermione thought to herself, sarcastically. She then opened up the letter.

The train takes off at 11. You will meet us by the old beech tree at the edge of the lake to watch it leave, or more copies of these will be sent to every student at Hogwarts. There will be no need for you to bring your wand.

Hermione looked at the clock. It was 10:30. She hadn't even breakfasted yet, but she knew she'd better make her way to the lake as fast as possible.

She grabbed the invisibility cloak and stuffed it in her bag. She knew they might be up to something, so if she could use the cloak to sneak away.

She quickly made her way to the Great Hall to pick up a few bits of toast to fill her stomach before walking out the doors and onto the grounds.

Does she immediately go to the Beech Tree?
