The Daughters of Donegal
The Night was calm, but Angus was anything but.
"Fooking cheeky bastards rendering our sweet sweet Epona in wicked flame!!!"
Morrigan's Compariaote bounced through the dark alley in Oldtown where they'd retreated to recuperate from the battle. Angus and Dagda were relatively unharmed, but Epona was a laughing twitching mess of char and burned skin as she writhed in Dagda's grasp as the rain sizzled against her skin.
"OOOOOOH IT HURTS, IT'S DELIGHTFUL IT HURTS!" She screamed, crying and laughing like the Banshees of old.
Dagda looked to his Lady who paced restlessly under the rain that fell betwixt the cracks in the buildings "She's gonna need blood, Milady." He said in his off-jargoned warm tone, completely wrong for the situation as was usual.
"Those New Generation of Drakes are quite somethin', even more, powerful than the last hehe!" Angus laughed crazily.
Morrigan clutched her ears and scowled at them all "Will ya shut your wee mouths for five fucking minutes while I think!" She roared, crushing them into obedient silence. They might all be mad, but they knew better than to anger the Morrigan.
Seorsia's brow creased as she tried to get her head working, the battle did not go to plan and they knew of the Moore's presence that she'd painstakingly tried to keep hidden, not only from the Blackhouse, but from the other lords. This was bad.
Still, Seorsia was too old to act the fool
"Kill a dozen men and one woman, Higher quality blood, that will fix the burns after a couple of hours." She commanded.
Dagda frowned, his furious beard whirling in curly hair as his freckled face tightened "But I'd have to go to a richer district, find a healthier vermin than what we'd find here." He complained, his smile gone. Leaving Angus with the responsibility of caring for anything was always poorly advised. But Seorsia was ****.
"Then shut up and get it done. I'm going for a drink." She growled.
"But Milady-" Dagda started
She turned her Ivory eyes to him, and He saw the wrath in them. They silenced his protest as He bowed his head "Aye, Milady."
Lady Morrigan looked to Angus next, pointing a taloned finger "If you do anything stupid, I'll drop you in silver handcuffs at the Drake's door, get me?" She threatened.
Angus had never shut up so quickly in his unlife, and eager to be rid of her troublesome clan members, Seorsia vanished into the shadows, looking for a drink.
Seorsia and her gang had never been so gorged on blood. The People of Wallace were not like the townsfolk she had gotten used to. It took a lot of planning and self-control to operate in a city as a superior, all of the deafening noise and pulsating living bodies, pft, the remaining Moores were hard enough to control as it was, without a city full of meatbags waddling around, tempting an already undisciplined ****.
And so the drink that Seorsia went for, was of a different kind.
The New-fowl pub on Cross street avenue downtown was a poor imitation of what Seorsia knew, a building too modern to be old and too old to be new and of course, packed with humans. She hated these parasites, however... she enjoyed booze far more. And so she made her way into the fairly busy establishment and walked up to the bar, placing herself roughly on one of the green velvet stools, and decided to glare until one of the bartenders would nut up and ask her to pick her poison.
The Undead Lady of the Moores sat for nearly 20 minutes, an age to one whose perception was so... advantageous. Did no man in Wallace have the balls to serve her?
She wondered why she had even bothered coming here. Feeling the summons of Lord Nox, much like the others, her curiosity had gotten the better of her. But unlike the others, Seorsia had her history with her Rival house already. The Drakes were feared by the other houses all those years ago, The Romanovs were all but little bitches until their near end. The Tyrn lept at the opportunity to merge with House Drake... she still remembered the rabbit, but those were not thoughts for relaxation.
Seorsia had spent literal years toiling over territories. War was her nature... and yet, she for one could not have ever felt more exhausted with a nature that would doubtlessly one day, bring a final ****.
"Oi!"
The Morrigan jolted as a familial tone shouted next to her powerful ears. She peered curiously as a radiant form that suddenly shambled unto the bar, her shoulder-length nut-brown hair; freshly curled swinging on her shoulders, her Ivory slip-on dress-jersey gleaming in the low light.
"Hey, ya bastard, I'm talking to you!" She cried again, making the bored-looking barman look up grumpily from his nose buried deep into his phone.
The Irishwoman smiled as He scowled "What?"
She grinned evilly "Don't be such a cunt, eh mate? Get me 12 sours, apple please. 6 for me and 6 for her." The Woman's finger pointed to Morrigan, who raised an eyebrow as the Barman cast a fearful gaze to the still scowling Morrigan "...Alright." He eventually said, rushing to make the drinks under Morrigan's murderous gaze.
"Make that Vodka." Sia cut in, the bartender grimacing at her dread-stare.
Seorsia's eyes narrowed at the Brunette. The Vampire Lord was accustomed to her younger looking older than she was, The Red Queen looked no older than 20, as was the age of her turning all of those hundreds of years ago, and yet, the woman who looked at her held a special peculiarity in her maturity, despite her seemingly being in her middle 30s. "So, what's the craic?"
Seorsia blinked "W-What?"
The Brunnette cringed "It means, what's up? what's going on? You look none too happy to be here." She smiled with a grin like heaven.
The Lady raised an eyebrow "I know what it means... Is as Éirinn mé féin." She spoke in her mother tongue, one usually reserved for that of her kin.
Oh, but how the Brunettes eyes lit up, as she nodded and shook her head at her own silliness "Of course. Sorry, I should have heard it in your voice." She smiled, a very beautiful and sunny smile Morrigan couldn't deny. "Where are ya from?" She inquired as the barman poured their Vodka.
Seorsia wasted no time in grasping one of the shot glasses, the small shiny glass instantly shattering at the power of her fingertips. The Barman scowled and The brunette gasped playfully as Seorsia sighed, more carefully grasping a drink. The Brunette smiled and held up a shot of her own the two clinking together in cheers.
The Lord necked the drink as naturally as drinking air, though her new companion cringed, licking salt and sucking Lemon.
"Donegal," Seorsia spoke with ease, the vodka as simple as winter breeze in her throat.
The Brunettes eyes brightened... if that was even possible "You're having a laugh? I'm Donegal born and bred meself!" She Laughed.
Seorsia nodded, a small smile overcoming her scowl "I heard it."
The Brunette seemed adamant on grinning more brightly "What brings a kinswoman to this place, then?"
"The Usual, Blood and ****."
Necking another shot much to her body's dismay, the Brunette nodded "Me too."
Seorsia was doubtful "How so?"
"Well, I was a Doctor up in droomske, but... I had some trouble there, got chased out of town, ended up here. Wanted t prove me Mam wrong, ended up here. Blood and ****." The Brunette smiled as Seorsia chuckled, "Any problem with that?"
"No, they were probably a bunch of wankers, protestant bastards" Morrigan whispered. She'd made an effort to avoid home, it wasn't a place for her or her kin.
The Brunnette shrugged " I don't know, I miss it sometimes. The flowing river, the sweet people. Nothing like these lot." She said, as Morrigan sunk two more shots with little difficulty "You look new here, planning on spending here long?"
Morrigan paused... unable to find an answer to the question "Not a clue."
"You just seem like a fish out of water, I know what it's like to be here when you don't belong, all the weird rituals and the danger-"
"-Danger?" Morrigan spoke, rolling her eyes "This place is pathetic. A dark place obsessed with its own culture in some places, and ignorant of it in others. I didn't miss how pompous the Wallicites were."
"So you've been here before?" The Brunette held back a gag as she swallowed another of her mini 'forget-me-not' elxirs.
"Donkey's years ago, aye." She agreed though the redhead oozed into the bar, beginning to feel the vodka soothing her veins "I missed it, I think... it's one of those places that leaves an impression. Still, going home would be grand." She admitted, much to even her own surprise.
The Brunnette raised an eyebrow "Well, you must have been young. I promise you get used to it." She admitted.
If only she knew.
"Not sure meself. maybe?" Morrigan reached out, carefully grasping her remaining drinks, the sharp liquid slithering down her throat as she nodded to herself "It's good to meet someone from home, It's reminded me of what I have to do."
The Brunette pushed a hair away from her beautiful, drunken visage "Well I've never been one to pry, so I'll take your word for it."
Seorsia missed this. She'd not had a mature conversation with anyone for.... she didn't even remember "I'd best be off, I'm in need of a good kip." The Morrigan stood and went to leave, though not before the Brunette called out to her vanishing friend.
"Hey, what's your name?" She shouted.
The Morrigan turned, and considered the Brunette thoughtfully "Seorsia." She answered.
The Brunette smiled "If you ever need a good time, look for Bonnie Murphy in the phone book, Alright?"
Bonnie Murphy, the name would be one that the Superior lord would think of as a rare break from a difficult world. And with a nod, Seorsia left the New-Fowl Pub, revitalized for the task that called in her blood, the **** of the Drakes
