The contest begins

After a moment, the man with the clipboard returned out.

"Alright ladies, you'll be coming out in just a moment." He explained. "I need you to line up alongside the stage, then come out when the announcer signals you."

The women moved into a line. Lauren stepped into the line. She found herself between two nearly six foot women. Lauren felt minuscule in comparison. She looked back, seeing the woman towering over her grinning down at her. Lauren looked away, fuming a bit. Why did she have to take off her shoes anyways?

Onstage, a man in a suit with a microphone was addressing the crowd and the cameras.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the legendary local bikini contest! Today you will see the most beautiful women in the county, if not the state! But, only one will win the cash prize of 3,000 dollars, and the notoriety of being the most beautiful woman around! Now give it up for our lovely contestants!"

The crowd applauded as he began introducing the women one by one. Lauren rolled her eyes and ignored the others, until she heard her name.

"And now let's meet Lauren Adkins!"

Brightening, Lauren put on a seductive smile, straightened her hair and stepped out onto the stage.
