To Bite - Werewolf Path

Usagi didn't see it till it was too late. A large figure dashing from the shadows and swiping at her. But years of combat didn't make her lose her reaction time. She quickly moved out of the way, only having part of her jacket get clawed off. The beast continued, slashing with it's large claws. In the darkness and it's speed, the scout couldn't get a good look at what monster it was. She dodged into the playground, hoping to get some distances enough to start the transformation to her Scout form.

However the noise was starting to attract attention. Some of the houses started to light up, wondering who was making that racket. Usagi stopped trying to get her pen out as a gate started to open up, trying to warn the person back inside. That was all the figure needed, as Usagi felt a something bite into her leg. Pain shot through her thigh as she fought the foe off her. She limped back and turn to see her attacker but the large figure crawled further into the darkness as the curious homeowner came out and saw the scene. With that, the shadowy figure ran off keeping low to the ground as the older man rushed to Usagi 's side calling for someone to phone for help.

Random Animal attack.

That was what the cops had decided on. From Usagi 's wound and the home owner's statement; the Police figured it was some sort of wild dog or escaped animal, running around in the dead of night only to run into a young woman. A few other statements of "Animalish sounds" in the area seemed to confirm it along with Claw marks. Usagi wasn't too sure about that but stayed quite.

She turned down the hospital stay after she was rushed there(knowing her own magical healing would let her bounce back at home) but agreed to have some blood drawn for tests. Again she was pretty sure her Scout regeneration abilities could handle the battle damage, but it was better to keep appearances. A quick call to the other scouts was had, warning them of the strange attack. They asked if they needed to help with anything but Usagi said no. The police would be giving her a ride back to her place.

Luna was worried when she walked into the house limping with a large bandage around her thigh. Usagi talked her guardian cat down, saying it was earned in battle with a weird monster. Something to worry about in the morning but Luna wasn't sure as perhaps the monster wounded Usagi in such a way to better track her. A ward or two in place over night couldn't hurt so Usagi humored her and did so.

That done she took a nice long hot bath, keeping her wounded leg dry. She'd been planning on this for the first battle and now really needed something to soothe her, as her skin kinda felt a little itchy. All that sweat and panic of the night probably.

Soon enough she in her pink jumper PJs(They're comfy, shut up) and reading for a little bit. Everyone gave her a text message hoping she was alright and to have a good night's sleep. Even Darien which made her heart flutter. At Luna's instances for a good night's rest, she put her distractions aside and walked the house one more time. Nothing seemed unusual to Usagi and Luna couldn't sense anyone nearby. So the two shelved that problem for the next day and turned in for a good night's sleep.
