Go See Alex

Kendra decided to go pay Alex a visit. At the very least to see how she was doing, right? She put her tablet way, made sure her paintings were stable and covered them up before she took off to the gym.

Entering, Kendra got a better look at the place. Most the equipment were in pairs or in fours. General rule seemed that if space could be afforded and it was a more passive, group activity there would be four. Like the bike machines and treadmills, these were off on the left when entering., The heavier equipment was centered in the middle of the room, consisting of pair of weight machines and benches with a few racks for some free weights. On the right from the door was an open area with padded mats and a few training dummies and punching bags, no doubt for combat training.

The backside of the room featured a few changing rooms and lockers, showers, restroom and a door to a sauna.Basically every thing you needed to upkeep the physical looks and strength of a bunch of well trained spies. It even had balance balls.

Big, bouncy, toned, sweat sheened, barely contained…., wait was she thinking about?

Kendra was distracted by the sight before her. Alex was busy balancing on one of the large rubber balls while working out with a pair of free weights. She had switched out of her previous outfit to a pair of workout hot pants and a tight sport bra. The sweat sheen on her body made it clear she had been working out for awhile. But she was currently distracted and didn’t realize someone had entered. The way she was sitting on the balance ball not only had her butt jutted out, but her shorts were riding lower, giving Kendra a good view of the curves down there.

The cartoonist was stunned and was trying to process this, when a meow was heard. The cat Felix was nearby and made not only his presence known but Kendra’s as he plodded over to his owner, merrrowing for attention. His owner quickly masked her embarrassment by picking him up as Alex turned around.

“Hmm who’s there?” Alex asked, craning her neck to see who the cat was greeting. A bit of a smile came to her face as she put the weights down and got up, gabbing a water bottle as she did so. “Oh hey Kendra! Come to see how the gym is?”

“Little bit. And wanted see how Felix was doing. He gets so uppity around strangers so I was a tad worried….” Kendra lost track of her words.

Alex looked ripped, almost superhuman. But without losing any of the curves either, coming off as some tanned Amazon from fantasy. Her bra seemed to be almost failing to contain her boobs and she stood a head above the cartoonist. Like some sort of Wonder Woman…

“Wait a minute.” Kendra muttered snapping out of her daze, “You didn’t look like that this morning. What happened to you?”

“I read the instructions. It was kinda weird at first but hey I’ve seen stranger.” Alex stated, giving a bit of a flex.

“Instructions?”

Alex tossed a small book as she took another long drink. Flipping through it, Kendra was astonished by what it said. If the book was true they had what was basically some sort of body modification device. The Saunas steam seemed to also contain nanotechnology that could warp the flesh in a number of ways. Size, hair style, race, gender, muscles; the list was pretty extensive. It could even be compressed into a shake or sports bottle for ease of transport if the user wanted to change elsewhere. There was just one problem and she was beginning to see the effect.

Alex’s muscles started to shrink.

It was slow, but noticeable now. It must have happened when Kendra started reading. Alex didn’t until her top became baggy and lose, as it was missing the extra size to hold up the clothing. Alex panicked and tried to cover up while Kendra avoided looking at the spy. She nearly shuffled over to a towel rack and handed Alex one.

“Thanks. …I’m gonna go change now.” Alex muttered, her face a little red as she quickly made herself scarce.

Kendra spent the time flipping through the manual some more. Given the spies history of modifications, usually unwilling, it made a bit of sense for something like this. Though the idea of ‘extra’ features seemed dubious and more so with the price tag. It seemed some aspects of the machine were blocked off. The manual explained that it was due to the group marriage, but she wasn’t sure if that’s how it worked for everyone or just them.

Eventually, Alex returned wearing more fitting clothes though it was the same as what she had before. It just now fit her normal body(well normal after Cupid Wish modifications). Kendra noddded as she walked over.

“So you set it to two hours I take it?” Kendra asked, noting the downside of the device was a time limit.

It could be configured for a certain amount of time, and transformations lasted based on how much was changed. A simple strength enhancement could last a week but something like 'Amazon build' lasted less time. Though the upgraded version seemed to offer more time. That part felt like a sells pitch to Kendra though.

“Yeah. I kinda wanted to give it a try and remembered how I went semi She-Hulk one time so I thought to use that.”

"You know you could probably make yourself a Hulk." Kendra pointed out.

“Pfff, no. I look good in yellow but not covered in it.Sam would be a much better hulk with green and the whole smart guy thing." Alex replied, taking a seat on the bench Kendra was sitting on.

“You’re right. .... SNRK" the cartoonist almost lost it at a certain thought that just entered her mind.

"...You okay?"

"I'm.. SNRK picturing a Red Hulk Clover. Looking like a Tomato or Chili Pepper." came the answer.

Alex lost it at the thought and her laughter sent Kendra over the edge. It descended into a giggle fit with the two pausing for breath and taking light jabs at Clover about her 'accessory choices' in her new imaged form. Kendra made the comment of 'Oh how do I accessorize this, am I fruit or veggie?' and Alex doubled over. It was one thing to hear it on TV but Alex's laugh was something to hear. A sense of absolute joy and sunshine from it, the type that came from a person that just loved life and happiness. And her giggles were just the cutest thing she'd heard...,

"Earth to Kendra?"

"Hmm what eh?" Kendra snapped back to attention, noting how close Alex had gotten.

"You okay? You kinda zoned out there for a second."

"Oh it's nothing. I just... haven't laughed like this in awhile. Haven't had many friends. Co Workers just not friends...., though I guess calling you a friend might be a little forward." Kendra shyly explained.

"Friend huh. Is that what you really think of your wife?"

"No I mean... wife!?!? Bruh Just.. wait... hold on...," Kendra stopped her flustered babbling as Alex giggled again.

"It's fine it's fine, I'm teasing you." Alex joyful said, giving a water bottle to Kendra, "You seem like a nice person Kendra, and just messing with you makes you react like a real person. 'sides, you have a pretty face when flustered, you should show it off more. How'd you not land someone till reality warping had to step in?"

"I'm... not a very out there person. Wallflower I suppose and before I had looked... plain. Average. I had a good simple life so I never saw a reason to change. Just keep my head down and... do my own thing I suppose."

"That's not very exciting." Alex said, a frown starting to form before she got a bright look in her eyes. "Well you have a body now don't you? You'll be beating off people with a stick when you get back."

"I suppose. Till Sam finds a way back I guess we're stuck here so might as well make the most of it."

"Atta girl." Alex said, playfully tapping Kendra's shoulder, "Well we have an entire gym to ourselves or maybe you wanna go somewhere else?"

"Wait you want to spend time with me?" Kendra puzzled back.

"Again you seem like a nice person, just need to come out of your shell. So," Alex stood up and a hurry and pulled Kendra up with her, "What do you wanna do?"
