Of course, Kate has already furnished their two-floor living spaces, tasteful and elegant like the rest of the building. Nick's relieved to see it's not all color-coded, but he does notice the private elevator, and the service elevator and intercom. As Tommy rushes from room to room, calling out excitedly whenever she finds something that catches her eyes, Nick walks through to the living room. The entire place is designed so it feels as much like a home as possible, and not the hotel rooms and suites he's been used to for the last few years. Slightly overwhelmed by it all, Nick sits on the overstuffed sofa, sighs, then remembers he needs to call Andre. Pulling out his cell phone, he dials the number, and Andre picks up on the first ring.

"Mister Aden, how are you, Sir?" says the man, smooth as silk.

"I'm well, Andre," Nick says. "And you?"

"Excellent, Sir," Andre answers. "This is unexpected. Do you need something I can provide, Sir?"

"Possibly." Nick pauses, trying to figure out how to approach this. "I have a very awkward request, which I want you to feel absolutely welcome to decline."

"I am at your service, Sir."

"How comfortable are you with your current work?"

"I love my work, Sir."

Nick pauses. "I meant, how comfortable are you with your current employer?"

There is the barest second's pause before Andre answers. "I am comfortable. Why do you ask, Sir?"

"Well, I've come into the ownership of a hotel out of state, and my chief of staff needs the best concierge she can find to run front of house." He plunges on, despite feeling a little uncomfortable. "The thing is, it's not a normal hotel."

"Sir?"

"It's a BDSM and sex club, members only, very exclusive but also very adult."

Andre doesn't seem phased. "I don't perform those sorts of duties, Sir."

"No, we'd want you strictly to do the front, public service, just like a regular concierge. The whole thing would be yours to run, and I think it would be much like your usual work, just with a slightly more adult set of requests."

"I once had to procure three transvestite prostitutes for a member of the British government, Sir," Andre says. "As long as I am not being asked to participate in any- activities..."

"Not at all. I can double your pay and benefits."

"I'm not sure you could, Sir," Andre says, doubtful. "I am quite well compensated here."

"I'm sure we can. Budget is not a concern."

"Well, then. If you'd like to give my details to your chief of staff, I shall speak with her to see if it would be a fitting work relationship for us both."

"Nicki!" Tommy calls from the master bedroom. Nick thanks Andre and disconnects the call, then quickly texts Kate with Andre's details as he walks up the hallway toward the bedroom.
