The truth

"This one is just looking for work, honest work, she just crossed the Elsweyr border yesterday and today she will be going to either Skingrad or Bravil for work, nothing bad, Sanna is honest."

The Legionnaire looks around at the campsite then back to you.

"Have you recorded your travels with a census office yet?" He asks you, making you slightly nervous.

"N-no, but Sanna assures you that she will be checking in with one as soon as she gets to Bravil or Skingrad." You respond nervously.

The Legionnaire looks you up and down once again, adding to the uneasiness already present.

"Well, it's illegal to cross the border without stopping at a border checkpoint, for all I know you could be a skooma smuggler, we get a lot of them around here."

That's it, he's going to arrest you for suspicion of smuggling, or send you back to Elsweyr, you're done for. Your hands begin to shake and turn cold, panic is beginning to set in which surely wont help your case.

As you try to hide the building panic, the Imperial looks back at your tent behind you.

"Mind if I check your tent? I just want to make sure you don't have any contraband in there, if you're clean we can discuss your illegal border crossing."

Well, you know for a fact you don't have any moon sugar or skooma, or anything that would be considered contraband, at least you hope, but who knows, maybe this man will plant evidence, maybe he hates Khajiit. You wonder if letting him check the tent will make any difference...
