“Amy? She’s company property like most of us here.” Miriam explains.
“Property?” You ask.
“Yeah. It’s... well you know. This company likes to recruit submissives. A lot of us have entered into contractual servitude. The company looks after us and we sign over power of attorney. There are some real good perks. Like really great ones. After ten years you’re eligible for a new clone body. And if it’s your thing... well it pushes my buttons.” Miriam confides.
“Oh. Wow,” you gasp.
“Amy was annoyed when Mr Smith replaced her with you. Amy is pretty new here and was only just starting to get into her new role when...” Miriam shrugged.
