Work off the debt

"Hmmm actually nah you'll never agree to it." The woman changed her mind after eyeing Vanessa up and down. "What the fuck!? At least tell me! I don't have a choice remember!?" Vanessa sniped back, this woman was beginning to test her patience. "Well, if you can't pay, it means you're in debt to the company, so you'll need to work off that debt." She explained, not even bothering to look at Vanessa as she already thought she knew the answer.

Vanessa had a feeling this may be the other option, without her card she was gonna have to choose it. "Fine, I'll work it off, what do you want me to do?" Vanessa sighed and rolled her eyes, she really didn't want to do it but she had ****.

The woman raised her eyebrows, surprised at Vanessa's answer. She had her finger on the security button, as she expecting Vanessa to put up a fuss and have to be taken away. If Vanessa was truly up for working off the debt, the woman officially had the upper hand, she thought. After a smile, the woman shifted toward her computer. "That's excellent, now I've just checked my computer and there's only one debt job available here--"

"Just do it already! I want this to be over as quickly as humanly possible!" Vanessa interrupted, her patience had run very thin. The woman kept her smile, she had hoped Vanessa would try to rush things. "Okay, you're all booked, the elevator will take you there, have a lovely day madam!" The woman cheerfully concluded. She pulled down a shutter, which covered the whole stand.

The elevator then began to move, not upward but surprisingly forward. Vanessa folded her arms and sighed, she was furious by how she'd been treated so far. She devised a strong worded complaint in her head while the elevator moved.
