She likes it

Still thinking about the surreal amount of gas she had just released and how much more she felt churning in her belly, Samus reacted in a way she didn't anticipate: she laughed. It was a small, girlish giggle that stopped nearly as soon as it started but it was a laugh all the same.

Samus covered her mouth. Why did she just react that way? She never laughed at something so immature, not even when she was a little girl. This must be one of the psychological effects of the chip, she realized. Perhaps it made her feel that way to help her adjust to it. Surely that would wear off with time, she thought.

For the time being, once she took her hands off her mouth, she was still smiling. She felt a sense of playful excitement. Her heart pounded quicker in her chest as she wondered if her next one would be just as enormous. She leaned to the side a bit, eager to find out.

This one proved to be even louder and longer than her previous one. She felt giddy as a tingly wave of relief washed all throughout her body. This time, she caught herself giggling even before the deep, rumbling noise coming out of her behind came to a close.

For the next several minutes, Samus amused herself with her new "talent." She'd challenge herself to see how loud she could fart, how long she could keep one going, how many times she could do it in a row. Her constant flatulence was only interrupted briefly when she would either giggle to herself or sigh in relief.

Basking in the thick stench that now enveloped the room, Samus felt an odd sense of pride. She stood up and stretched, a short trumpet-like blast escaping as she did so. She spanked herself and grabbed a handful of her behind with a smirk.

She contemplated her next move. She was enjoying herself so much she was just about to ask the computer to make the upgrade permanent. But before she opened her mouth, she wondered if it was such a good idea to yield to her new fart obsession. Perhaps she should uninstall this upgrade before it gets too out of control. Then she thought she didn't have to make the decision yet. She could explore the station and get some more use out of it while she thought about it.
