I challenge any and all my fellow Chyoa compatriots to build a wholesome realm, adding their perversive touch as little or as much they like. Somewhere not here, in the infinite multiverse exist a massive universe and birthplace of many races. In this magical reality, as a ruler, they divide the lands territory by strong affinities. These affinities separate apart from one another, yet balance their borders from each other. They push against one another for more territory, and have been for eons in hopes to encumber their enemies with no avail. The balance of thinks has always deemed it impossible. Through natural ability or some other fatal opposing forces.

You have been gifted with such a realm. As it lays blank, with no affinity set in place.

An affinity imbues you and everything you create in your realm with a perpetual element. Also known as an Affinity. Defining the appearance of nature and creatures that reside inside it.

There are many affinities to choose from. It is a choice that will determine what you’ll become and rule over. Minions and monster alike will appeal to this element, appearing as such. You must decide!

Affinity Options

Wasteland - Large, barren and completely desolate. Wastelands are devoid of any life sustaining quality. You and the minions you choose to create would be attuned to sustain here, giving you increased health and endurance. Plus the ability to go long periods of time without food or water. The wastelands are typically flat and either arctic or arid.

Inferno - The majority of your realm will thrive in the heat of fiery blazes and pyromancy. You and your minions would be attuned to fire, giving you increased damage, plus increased resistance to flames and heat. Smoke, heat and fire are rampant part of this realm, and serve as natural deadly defenses against any trespassers.

Aquatic - Water is the source of life, but is one of the deadliest forces of nature. You and your minions would be attuned to water, giving you increased health and better resistance against magic, plus the ability to breathe underwater. The Aquatic realms are typically designed around oceans and large bodies of water.

Glacial - This realm is part of a world where temperatures remain well below the freezing point. You and your minions would be attuned to Ice, as well as have the ability to resist freezing cold temperatures. Any who traverse these cold and harsh should come well prepared, least they freeze to **** or worse.

Earth - Deep below the ground lies unfathomable amounts of treasures; gold, gems and other valuable materials, all waiting to be claimed. You and your minions would be attuned to rock, giving you increased strength and the ability to see in complete darkness. Those that are not native to this environment should be wary of being buried alive, or getting lost in the maze of underground tunnels.

Air - High up in the sky this realm lies, which through mysterious magic defies the laws of gravity. You and your minions would be given increased agility and the ability to fly. The unique nature of this realm makes it difficult to infiltrate, and anyone who doesn’t have the ability to fly should watch their step up here.

Tempest - Situated upon high mountains surround by volatile storms, this realm is by far the most dangerous in terms of weather. You and your minions would be attuned to lighting, giving them increased speed and the ability to temporarily paralyze their foes. The altitude, high winds, and treacherous terrain of this realm makes it extremely dangerous to traverse.

Gaia - Settled deep within the dense woods, strange magic connects you and your minions to the collective nature itself. You and your minions would be given incredible regeneration and the ability to sustain yourselves like plants through photosynthesis. The natural flora provide great defense and can be manipulated by through your will.

Necrotic - The marshes and crypts are the perfect setting for the undead and the undying. You and your minions would be attuned to ****, giving you increased health and the ability to resurrect any corpse through artifacts. Any dead body can be reanimated to join your ranks, though they will lack a mind and soul.

Illusion - Things are not as they seem in this realm as illusion and trickery fool the senses. You and your minions would be attuned to misdirection, giving you increased intelligence and the ability to create illusionary clones of anyone in your realm. An endless array of traps, puzzles, and clever tricks await any who trespass into this realm.

Acoustic - This realm is located in spacious fields with tall and thin mountains with serene rivers. You and your minions would be attuned to sound, with increased perception and the ability to cast magic imbued in sound waves. A soothing melody may heal, while a sharp note could pierce the air like an invisible arrow.

Light - A brilliant, golden light shines over this realm, claiming the land as its own. You and your minions would be attuned to light, giving you increased moral and the ability to temporarily blink your foes. Light realms usually feature warm, flat, fertile, and flat farmlands perfect for enlightenment.

Dark - A cloak of ominous darkness shrouds this realm, claims the land as its own. You and your minions would be attuned to shadows, giving you increased stealth and the ability to become invisible while in the shadows. Darkness realms usually feature cold, barren, and mountainous environments perfect for building paranoia in your foes.

Mystic - Mystic realms are massive and beautiful planes filled with huge amounts of arcane energy. You and your minions would be attuned to magic, giving you increases intelligence and magical prowess. The environment of can be anything you can imagine, and can even defy gravity if willed to. As the plane can be manipulated and ever changing.

Technology - This realm is one for innovation. You and your minions would be attuned to invention, giving you increased intelligence, plus the ability to create amazing constructs and devices. Technology realms are usually prosperous and are filled with powerful but obvious traps and defenses. They can exist anywhere and can take any form of industrious design.

Choice wisely, as the only way to get one another, is to take over another... good or evil.
