Nathan isn’t single anymore

“Um, Lauren, I can’t kiss you,” Nathan said.

“What? Why not?” Lauren said.

“Because... I’m not single,” he said. “And my girlfriend is standing right there.”

Lauren followed his finger to see Charlotte standing on the other side with a devilish look. “What?! B-but our date... we... what? When did this happen?”

“Just now,” Nathan said. “And anyways, our date is kind of over and no offense, but I’m not looking for a second one. My mind... changed.”

“B-but...” Lauren whimpered. “Why not?”

“L-look, Lauren you’re a nice girl, and I’m sure someone would want to be with you, but you’re just not my type,” Nathan said.

“And Charlotte is?” Lauren whimpered.

Nathan nodded. “So anyway, I can still give you a ride when we’re done, but as far as I’m concerned, we’re done.”

Lauren stood in shock as Nathan skated away, Charlotte in hand. Lauren looked over to Britney and gulped as she had her hand over her mouth while the others weren’t even trying to hide their laughter.
