Callum meets you at the bus terminal

Callum arrives to find the three of you brooding over recent events. Allura is the first to greet him, oblivious to the blush that had lingered on her cheeks since your encounter in the dressing room.

"What took you? Did you fall in?"

"Yeah, yeah." he replies, ignoring her canned slight in favour of the devastated blonde crouching on the ground. "What's up with her?"

Since Harley's face is still buried squarely in her hands you decide to take the liberty of answering for her:

"Got caught having sex in the dressing room."

"No fucking way!"

"Fucking way. Cashier lady found Allura and went looking for us - apparently dolls aren't allowed to hang around the mall unattended."

"That sucks, dude. What am I supposed to do next time I take a shit around here?"

"Bring her in with you, I guess? I dunno. But yo, there was still something I needed to get. You weren't with us when security picked us up, so I need you to go grab it."

"Yeah, sure. What is it?"

You reach down and tap Harley on the shoulder, sliding your phone out of your pocket with your free hand.

"What?" she groans.

"Cal's going in for the tablet." you reply. "Look online, figure out what you want, and he'll go get it. Alright?"

You unlock your phone and hold it out to her for several seconds. Eventually a slow, sullen hand reaches up to take it from you, and the girl begins scrolling tearfully through pages upon pages of smart devices in search of one that strikes her fancy.

Meanwhile, Allura stares at the back of Cal's head with such intensity that he turns to look her way, prompting a nervous chuckle from your friend in the lead-up to his own request:

"Hey, can you pass it our way next? I think Allura wants to see."

"You were broke I thought."

"Yeah. That's why I was kinda hoping... If I paid you back...?"

You heave a sigh, swayed by the expectant gazes of both Callum and his buxom Love Doll.

"Fine," you grumble, reaching into your wallet to produce your credit card, "But don't forget: you owe me."

Once both dolls have made their wishes known to Cal he departs with a wave, fading once again into the jostling crowd of mallgoers. Allura turns to you the moment he's out of sight, plainly perplexed by your sudden show of generosity.

"You didn't have to do that, you know. I'm sure he'd have bought me one himself. Eventually."

"Heh. Guess you don't know him very well, then." you reply. "He's a good guy though, deep down. You'll learn."

Having had your fill of the conversation you lower into a crouch, now intent on bringing Harley out of her obvious emotional slump.

"Hey." you start, reaching out to gingerly stroke her thigh. To your relief she doesn't recoil, though she keeps her posture guarded and compact.

"Hi..."

"You okay?"

She sniffs from behind her palms.

"...N-No..."

"What's wrong?" you murmur. "Feeling embarrassed?"

"Uhm... Y-Yeah. Of course," she sobs, uncovering her face to reveal tear-stained cheeks, "because you wouldn't help me! Now everyone will think I'm a f-fucking whore..."

"So what? A random shop assistant and - well, you. Literally you. Those're the only people who saw, and I'm sure Allura - at least - understands. Right, Allura?"

The doll's eyes go wide when you turn to address her unexpectedly, but Harley is quick to speak up and spare her the necessity of answering:
