Leave the Pyramid

You and Izzy walk through the hallways in the pyramid, having cleaned yourself up. You didn’t expect Owen and Noah to be anywhere inside. You couldn’t see or hear any signs of them, so it was for the best.

Izzy held your hand as you two walked, swinging both of your arms. As you walked and began to sense some fresh air getting closer, you pulled your hand away from her’s. She snapped her head up to look at you and if looks could kill, you’d have ended up as another mummy in the crypt.

You speak before she gets a chance to, “Izzy I think it’s best not to tell anyone else of our relationship. That way we won’t be targeted, and stand a better chance. Don’t you think?”

Her expression faded away slowly as it processed in her unusual brain.

“I guess it makes sense...” she said. “But that better not mean we can’t hook up any more.”

You do your best to hold in an instinctive chuckle.

“Of course not, we just have to do it in private when no one’s looking. We can’t give any signs that we’re a thing. Deal?”

She nods with a grin.

You pull her in close to you and give her a nice long kiss.

“Now let’s get out of here.”
