Testing her Strength

"They're all naked." Diana repeated, now starting to panic. She couldn't fight crime naked even if it gave her immense power. What kind of offer was that?

"Maybe we shouldn't jump to conclusions" Hippolyta said trying to calm Diana down even though it was clear by her tone that she didn't believe it. "We don't know if that was what He meant. It could just as easily mean something else." The argument made enough sense to give Diana some hope that she wouldn't spend the rest of her life fighting crime naked.

"So what do we do?" Diana asked, **** for a way out.

"We test to see if what Zeus said is true."

"Test? Test how?" Diana asked even though the answer was obvious. If you're powerful when you're naked then the only way to test your power is to take everything off.

A few minutes later and Diana found herself in the training courtyard alone with her mother. She was still clothed but knew that sooner or later she would have to disrobe in front of her mother. She was tempted to ask her to leave or turn around but Hippolyta had to see the truth for herself even if meant a little embarrassment for both of them.

Nervously, Diana slipped out of her Wonder Woman outfit and gave it to her mother. She wore no underwear as she found it restricting and uncomfortable during a fight. She also took off her bracelets, her tiara and her boots leaving her as naked as the ancient heroes. Just as Zeus wanted. Looking over her shoulder, Diana was embarrassed to see Hippolyta watching her ordeal. Even though the Amazons had always been more relaxed when it came to nudity and Diana had even spent some time bathing alongside her friends, it just wasn't the same with her mother, especially since they were out in the open where any passer by could see her.

Deciding to get this over and done with, Diana went up to the closest set of weights, which weighed about 100 pounds. Easy enough to start with. Sure enough, she lifted it effortlessly above her head before setting it back on the ground. She then spent the next minute or so adding as much weight as she could fit, losing track of how heavy it was. Once she had put on as much as she could, she grabbed it with both hands and lifted it above her head without breaking a sweat.

For a moment, Diana forgot about her predicament and turned to her mother to show off her newfound strength only to be met by half a dozen other Amazonians who had come over to see what the fuss was about. Diana then remembered that she was naked and dropped the bar so she could cover herself, leaving the weight buried halfway in the ground.

"By the Gods" She heard someone mutter. Though she couldn't tell if it was because of her strength or her nudity.
