Follow Izzy

You run through hallways in the pyramid which is beginning to feel like a labyrinth to you. You can hear Owen yelling for Izzy, and we’ll as Izzy’s distant voice saying something you couldn’t make out.

You jogged for what felt like ages before you saw a shadow of someone walking with their arms outstretched in the next room.

“Izzy!” You exclaim.

You walk in and see Izzy dressed as the mummy.

“Oh! Malcolm, hey you found me! Now it’s your turn to dress as the mummy.”

“Izzy,” you say, lowering your voice and shaking your head. “You shouldn’t have done that. You not only wasted your own energy and time, but now we’re sidetracked trying to find you and I had to run after you. What were you thinking?”

“I wasn’t thinking,” she said. “That’s cause the mummy within me just took over.”

“Izzy,” you repeat, staring her in the eyes. “You aren’t taking this as seriously as you should. After that incident, you define rly owe me one for coming after you.”

“Ooh, I owe you one. What do you want?”

Some dirty thoughts flash through your mind, but you aren’t so sure yet. Suggesting this to Izzy and having her turn you down could be disastrous for your game.
