Find the key

You guess that Sarah and Tanya must keep a key for this mysterious room on their keyrings. You just need to wait for an opportunity to get hold of one.

That opportunity comes at dinner. While everyone is at the table, you excuse yourself once more to use the bathroom.

You find their keyrings hanging in their usual place next to the front door. Quietly slipping one off its hook, you take it down the hallway to the locked door.

After the first three keys you try don't work the fourth one finally turns. You push the door open and are surprised to find a nursery on the other side.

Against one wall is a white cot. Against another is a matching change table. There's a play mat strewn with toys and a table with some half-finished colouring. It takes a moment to register but everything is bigger than it should be. It's all sized for an adult.

Under the change table are stacks of adult diapers, some plain white but others with babyish prints. In the wardrobe you find adult-sized versions of all sorts of baby clothes like onesies, rompers and footed sleepers along with dresses in babyish styles.

Aware that your absence will become suspicious if you take too long, you leave the room, locking the door behind you. You make a point of flushing the toilet and washing your hands to back up your cover story then replace the keys and return to the table.

After dinner you are once again alone with Sarah.
