In the Night

Chapter 30 by PhoenixAuthor PhoenixAuthor

Sixteen year old Julianna “Jules” Lockett admired herself in the mirror. She, like her mother, had always been proud of her appearance.

She considered herself attractive, with long black hair, and the kind of face that made guys fall in love. Despite how well-received she was at school, though, she hasn’t yet turned the head of the guy she wanted: Zack Bishop.

She understood she was a few years too young for him, but in two years, she was his. Entirely. She’d already vowed to not have any romantic relationship except for Zack. She was his, and he’d be hers. As soon as she turned 18.

Gabriella, her mother, thought it was adorable. That pissed Julianna off. She wasn’t trying to be adorable. She just hoped that Zack didn’t think she was too childish. She wanted to be sexy, not Jared’s little childish sister.

There was a knock on the door, and Julianna glanced at it.

“Come in.” she called. Gabriella Lockett walked in. Julianna hoped that in the future, when she was happily married to Zack and having his children, she looked as good as her mother did. Gabriella had aged beautifully, not like some of the women you see who look like wrinkly old hags.

That would NOT be Julianna, that’s for damn sure.

“What is it, Mom?” Julianna frowned.

“I’m sorry you’re not going to the cabin. I know you wanted to see Zack, but we’re already bringing enough people to cram the cabin up. You just won’t fit anywhere.” Gabriella apologized.

“I know.” Jules scowled.

“So, I’ll make you a deal. You be good for your father, and I’ll give Zack your number.” Gabriella said.

“You will?” Julianna gasped.

“Yup. But your dad’s already going to be swamped with work, and you’re prone to some... passionate arguments.” Gabriella said in her peaceful tone. Julianna nodded.

“Alright. I’ll be good.” she promised eagerly. Gabriella smiled.

“Good.” she said, and left Julianna’s bedroom.

Julianna was excited. Her mother had finally deemed her old enough to be texting with Zack. About damn time.

———

Robert Ravers was pissed. Kurt had the nerve to come into his cabin and threaten him with blackmail?

The boy was in for some hell. Starting off with Robert secretly ensuring his daughter never, ever was seduced by her cousin.

Robert knocked on Heather’s door, and she answered it quickly.

“Hey, Daddy. What’s up?” she asked curiously. Robert, as always, loved the sound of her saying ‘daddy’.

“Can I come in?” Robert inquired.

“Sure.” she said, and let Robert in. Robert couldn’t remember who Heather shared a room with, but her roommate wasn’t here, thankfully.

Robert turned to Heather.

“Kurt knows we had sex, and he’s blackmailing me into helping him get to you. He wants you really bad, baby girl. Now, I don’t want him to leak any of what we did together, so I’m going to follow along with what he tells me for now. But don’t listen to me, ok? Whatever he tells me to do, it’s not really me.” Robert rushed to explain.

“Understood, daddy. So... about what we did... are we, well, are we going to do it again?” Heather asked softly. Robert stared at his daughter.

“Let’s deal with Kurt for now. Once he’s gone... well, we can talk about us.” Robert said. Heather nodded, then she leaned up and pecked him on the cheek.

“I have to go meet with Kurt. Don’t let on that we’ve spoken at all. Bye.” Robert said, and left quickly.

He headed straight for the loft, where Kurt had had the audacity to shoo him from while he thought up a plan. Robert was going to murder that kid one of these days.

When Robert reached his loft, he found Kurt sitting on the desk.

“Great. You’re back. I’ve got a plan. You and Heather... you’ve fucked before. That means she’s obviously not got an incest problem. Of course, she won’t just believe it if you start talking me up. No, we have to be more subtle than that. All you need to do is get your daughter drunk. I’ll handle the rest.” Kurt said smugly.

“It took you this long to come up with that gem of a plan? Get her drunk?” Robert scoffed.

“Do you have a better idea?” Kurt scowled.

“Several. But I’m not about to give you ideas to seduce my daughter.” Robert shrugged. Kurt chuckled.

“Sure, Uncle Robbie. Play the brave knight, helping Heather out. I bet you would love to see a better man fuck your daughter silly. Maybe I’ll make you watch as I take her.” Kurt drawled.

“She already has a man better than me. His name is Zack Bishop. And he will personally kick your ass when he finds out about this. I’d bet you two hundred bucks that Logan would help. So would Jared, once he gets here.” Robert chuckled.

“Bishop? I could break that scrawny twig in half.” Kurt scoffed, “Now, do what you’re damn told, before I give start making some calls.”

“Alright, whatever. I’ll get her drunk.” Robert rolled his eyes.

“Good.” Kurt smirked.

———

Logan headed up to his uncle’s loft. Surprisingly, he found Robert with his head in his hands at the desk.

“Uncle Robert? Are you alright?” Logan asked worriedly.

“Yeah, I’m fine. Just, uh, a little headache.” Robert said, “What can I do for you?”

“Well, I’m taking Hannah on a date tonight, and, well, I was wondering if you had any nice cars I could borrow.” Logan admitted.

“Yeah, I do.” Robert grinned, “A nice, classic car. Good for impressing women, but you don’t have to worry, I keep it clean.” Robert said. Logan laughed.

“Thanks.” Logan said.

He followed his uncle down the stairs and out of the main cabin, and over towards the large building that wasn’t the guesthouse. Nobody had ever addressed it, so Logan had just assumed that Robert had declared it off-limits.

“Hey. Nobody goes in here without my permission or Heather’s. Understood?” Robert checked. Logan nodded. His uncle pulled out a key and unlocked the door, and headed inside.

There was a garage with four cars in it, and then wall to the right when there was more building past it. Logan spotted a door.

“What’s through there?” Logan pointed at the door.

“Hot tub.” Robert chuckled, and led Logan over to a sleek sports car. It was a black Corvette, and looked pretty awesome, Logan had to admit. Robert held up the keys for it.

“You drive safe, ok? I don’t care if Hannah’s giving you road head, you better keep your damn eyes and attention on the road. Understood?” Robert said firmly. Logan nodded, a bit surprised at his uncle’s blunt words, but he understood loud and clear.

“Good. Have fun.” Robert said, and clapped him on the shoulder as he walked past. He paused by the door.

“I feel obligated to tell you to practice safe sex, because I feel like if I don’t, Audrey will flay me alive.” Robert grinned, and then he left.

Logan chuckled as he got into the convertible. It took him a second to find the garage door opener, and then he opened the garage and pulled out gently.

He closed the garage door behind him, and then he headed around the cabin to the front yard, where he parked the Corvette and headed towards the front door. He opened it and came into the living room, where Hannah was sitting, chatting quietly with a slightly sad looking Taylor.

The two older girls broke off abruptly when Hannah spotted Logan.

“Hey. You look great.” Logan smiled at his date.

Hannah did look really good. She was in a tight, low-cut red dress that came down to just below her hips, showing off her long legs. Her blond hair was flowing freely, and a ruby necklace glinted around her throat, the gem nestling in her cleavage, of which there was lots.

“Just great?” Hannah asked innocently.

“You look stunning.” Logan corrected himself. Hannah smirked.

“That’s more like it. You’re... passable.” she winked.

“Just passable?” Logan copied her earlier words. Hannah looked him up and down.

“Would you prefer acceptable?” Hannah asked with a smile. Logan shook his head, chuckling as he offered the blond his arm. She took it and Logan led her out to the front yard.

“Nice wheels.” Hannah remarked, and Logan grinned at her. He opened the car door for her, and she climbed in. Logan walked around to the other side and hopped in.

———

Zack dug into one of Brooke’s sandwiches. It really was tasty. Night had long fallen on Hangman Hill, and none of them had built a fire in daylight hours, so they’d simply brought out flashlights and sat in a circle with the flashlights aimed towards the center of the circle.

“These are really good, Brooke.” Zack smiled at her.

“Thanks!” Brooke smiled back at him.

“He’s right.” Sarah agreed.

Zack finished off his sandwich quickly, and grabbed another one.

“Hey, no more, or you won’t have any breakfast.” Monica chided.

“Fine.” Zack sighed.

“Sorry, Zack. I probably should have made some more, in case one of us got hungry.” Brooke apologized.

“It’s fine.” Zack assured her.

He finished his second sandwich and then he climbed to his feet, and yawned.

“I’m pretty tired. I think I’m going to head to bed. Are we doing anything tomorrow except heading back to the cabin?” Zack asked.

“Yeah, I thought we’d hike over to Zaffre Falls, if that’s alright with everyone?” Monica suggested.

“Sounds good.” Sarah said.

“I’m fine with it.” Brooke agreed.

“That’s the big, famous waterfall, right?” Zack checked.

“Yup.” Monica nodded.

“Well, I’m in, then.” Zack nodded.

“Great! I’m off to bed, too, then. It’s a long hike over to Zaffre, but we’ll end up closer to the cabin than we are here.” Monica said, and headed towards the tent she was sharing with Brooke. Zack headed towards his blue one-sleeper, and Brooke and Sarah headed towards their tents as well.

Zack’s tent wasn’t that large, but he had plenty of room to spread out. He clicked on the little lantern that sat in the corner of his tent, and the tent flooded with warm yellow light.

He changed quickly out of his clothes, pulled on just a pair of shorts, and then tossed the clothes into his backpack and laid down in his sleeping bag.

He clicked off the lantern and tried to get some sleep. He had no doubts that whoever showed up at his tent would wake him up.

It took a while, but he did eventually manage to let his eyes close.

———

Kurt smiled as he watched Robert and Heather in the corner of the living room. Robert was murmuring to her and touching her arm occasionally while she kept drinking shot after shot of whiskey.

It was late, and almost everyone was already asleep.

After a few minutes, Robert got up and headed towards his loft, giving Kurt a subtle thumbs up as he did so. Good.

Kurt walked over to Heather and sat down beside her.

“Hey, handsome.” Heather flirted drunkenly. Kurt wasn’t too bothered by the fact that she was drunk. Tomorrow morning, when she woke up naked and in his arms, his cock still buried inside her sheath, she wouldn’t care how she got that way.

“Hey, gorgeous.” Kurt said, letting his eyes rove his cousin’s hot body: those boobs, those-

Kurt’s thought process was cut off when Heather started snoring abruptly. Seriously? How drunk did Robert get her?

She was out cold. Kurt tried to rouse her, but she kept sleeping on, snoring.

Damn it. Kurt may not be against rape, but sleeping girls were no fun. He liked it when they could moan and beg for more.

Disappointed, Kurt headed off to his room. Foiled tonight, but Kurt would get Heather, that was a promise.
