Max's enhanced abilities slowed down time and she smiled at what happened next.

Nikoli's hand swung out the back his hand slapping through Dimitri's face, the ring on one of his fingers cutting deeply into Dimitri's lip causing him to loose his footing and fall to the ground.

Dimitri looked up squinting in the rain that was now pouring harder.

Nikoli stepped forward, "how many fucking times must I tell you, no business in front of people I don't know."

"The girls are just whores from the club." Dimitri winced in pain as Nikoli kicked him in the ribs, "His club, his fucking club'. 'Eli" Nikoli called out to one of his men. "Take the bitches to the office".

Max and the Russian followed Eli to the little building about a mile away, as they walked Max again used her special abilities to hear what Nikoli and Dimitri were saying to each other.

"If anyone knew that I had all the papers of your dealings with Richards we would be fucked, Nathan Richards is not a man you cross" Nikoli said.

Max smiled, she had to find those files no matter what.
