After that bombshell, you decided to relax with a shower, after which you took a moment to give yourself a long look in the mirror, you weren't bad looking at all, but you weren't winning any module contests either.

Your skin was darker than usual from being out in the sun on most days training, and apart from your arms which were toned, there were no muscles on your body. There was a slight belly growing.

It had been a long while since you did any actual exercise or training. At the time, it didn't matter. You had lost all motivation for it. Sebastian was right, though, and you can't just sit at home and do nothing with your life, so starting tomorrow, you're going to start trying to be more social. Beginning to fight again is the best way to start since it's something you're comfortable with.

As you walk back through the empty halls to your room, you notice that your bedroom door is open. You creep over to the handle and open the door entirely, and inside, you find. Nothing.

The room was empty, your starting to get paranoid, this whole Toph thing is starting to get to you. Closing the door behind you, you prepare to get dressed when you hear the handle open.

And that's when you see her, Toph. It was her. She stood about 5'8, a few inches shorter than you, her hair was in a large black bun, but unlike the show, it wasn't covering her now emerald green eyes. Her clothes looked more like guy clothing with loose-fitting shorts and an oversized red hoodie covering her still small chest.

"Can I help you?" you managed to mutter, still a bit shocked that she was here.

"You must be Dan." she looks you up and down with a hint of disappointment on her pale face. "I figured you'd be a kid by the way he described you. I glad to see he was wrong. I wouldn't mind watching you."

She walks in, closing the door behind her. You felt like a mouse staring down at a cat

You stutter your words, "Aw, cute." she says with a sickly sweet tone. You could tell she was teasing, and your never one to take a jab without giving one yourself. "I'm sorry, but if your here for the girl's school, it's next door."

Toph grins wide "Oh, I think we'll get along just fine, big big. Name's Toph, and from here on out, I'm your bodyguard."

You both talk for what feels like hours. Despite her not being real, she feels like a human. You both laugh and get to know each other a little better until you both decide to head to bed.

As you lay in your bed, you can't help but think about the future, you will get back into fighting, and with Tophs help, it might light a fire under your ass. You turn over in your bed to the face of Toph, "So, where am I sleeping?"
