Settling in.

Sabine and Arerto chatted as they left the arena and headed back to the palace. On the way Lady Bella joined them and Arerto told her that Sabine was to be given quarters near hers. Lady Bella went off and made the arrangements for the quarters while Arerto and Sabine headed to the Throne room.

"No one has ever bested me your majesty you deserve the title of Queen."said Sabine.

"You are an excellent fighter and i would say second only to me."replied Arerto.

They continued to chat while servants brought in food and drink and Arerto handled affairs of state. Her general of her armies came in and they discussed recent border incursions. Arerto ordered that any intruders caught be punished in the harshest terms then sent back as examples. The general argued about releasing prisoners but Arerto pointed out that a dead prisoner was a martyr a released punished prisoner was a disgrace.

Sabine looked on in awe as her charge dominated the throne room and although not scared people paid due respect to her. Arerto decide to go for a walk followed closely by her new shadow Sabine and a few more warriors. They came across the palace area reserved for children to learn and play and Arerto smiled. The children surrounded her and she played hopscotch and skipped with them.

Sabine saw another side to this dominant Queen ,one of playfulness and compassion as Arerto stopped the game when one girl fell injuring her knee. Arerto helped the girl and dressed her wound wiping away her tears. The girl apologized for crying but Arerto assured it was okay to cry it didn't make her any the less brave. After playtime Arerto left the children to go back to their teachers.

Arerto and her shadows walked around the palace grounds for the rest of the day.
