As Team Strike advances, you peer back to the invasion.

They've made it through the wall now. The doors on the castle themselves have opened, and a second **** is pouring out like a sea of red. Some are tiny flying imps like the ones that were assaulting the harpies way back. Others look similar to Ithic with various weapons. The army of devils meets with Team ****, and chaos ensues. Flames burn, and there's little Rada can do against them. He flings out other spells, but of course his specialty is fire.

Metal meets metal. Niki is up front like always, taking blows like a champ. Her superior strength and durability surprise even the devils. It's inhuman. As she mows through the imps despite bathing in fire, Zazra falls behind. She hits the ground with a thud as she's overwhelmed, but Yaera hurries over to save her. She begins to vanquish them with her divine magic while Elyndar rushes past her to provide aid too.

Meanwhile, fireworks go off in the sky. Every time an imp dies, it bursts into crackling flames.

Bek hustles up behind Niki. You can hear him laughing. The dwarf is getting excited. He crushes a few demons mixed in with the rest, and then turns as a tall figure emerges.

A terrifying woman appears beside them. She has white flesh, wears nothing more than a strap of fabric around her bust and a loin cloth, but her fingers lengthen into horrific claws. Her eyes glow red, and the ends of her appendages including her horns fade to crimson, as if drenched in blood. Her tail snaps back and forth. There's no time for introductions. As she slashes forward, the metal of Bek's shoulderplate scratches deep, and the end of her strike cuts open a wound across his cheek.

Niki swings her mace to crush her arm, but the creature leaps away.

"Nice try," the devil hisses. She grins wide. "I'll carve you open. For the Flame General!"

"Is that right?" Niki smirks and holds up her shield. A beacon of red light shines out from the face, and it shimmers over her opponent's body.

"What is this feeling? I feel so hot." Red appears across her face, which greatly contrasts against the pale flesh. "I can't... I can't focus, I--"

Niki leaps into the air and swings down with her mace. It crushes down on the creature's head, sending her down into the dirt. "Don't let your body distract you in a fight, lady."

Mistress Dajy lands straight onto her back, finishing her off. She casts a gaze up at the sunheart before her, and slowly rises back up to a proud, confidence stance. Her wings swing out to a great and imposing span. "What a dreadful thing that was."

You then notice the enemy forces start parting from the main gate. Something is making its way out, and they're clearing a path. Garbed in black trousers and heavy leather boots is a man with crimson skin and a barrel chest. His horns extend far from his forehead, his tail cracks like a whip, and he grips a giant pitchfork engulfed in fire. "What is this treachery?!" His voice is loud and booming. It echoes out over the battlefield.

"Oh F-Flame General," one of the devil soldiers stutters. "What do you mean by treachery?"

"How could we be pushed by the enemy? Such weakness is equal to betrayal!"

A dagger soars through the air, but he smacks it away with the end of his weapon. He turns to see the pink-haired cat Fang standing a distance away next to Thomas and Rinlin. They proceed to open fire, peppering the area with arrows. Though after one or two barely stick into his chest, he tears them out, and his men begin to surround them.

Tides start to turn. Devils are powerful, and there's no end in sight. You still see a gargoyle or two, several gremlins, and the odd demon. There are a couple more of the big, furry, strong-armed monsters you slew in the dungeons mixed in there too. With Flame General Ithic on the field, it seems like the enemy troops have had their morale boosted, or they're afraid. You didn't even defeat him last time you met. He fell off a cliff, and you managed to escape.

Fang leaps through the small fries and draws two daggers. She pounces through the air, and attempts to land both strikes into his chest. However, he throws his boot forwards and knocks the air from her lungs while sending her flying back. She tumbles to the ground, and he makes his counterattack. With a swing of his pitchfork, he drives a strike down to impale her to scorched soil.

It stops dead as it collides with Niki's shield. She glares up at him, snarling through her teeth.

But you can tell that was a hard hit, even for her. He swings around to hit her from the side, but Niki grabs Fang to hold her close. The two of them tumble away.

"All weaklings!" Ithic shouts. He holds his weapon over his head, and then begins to twirl it around in circles. The fire roars up like a hellish typhoon above him, but then he looks down in confusion. "Huh?"

The entire bottom half of his body is covered in a pale purple slime. When he reaches down to touch it, his eyes widen. The little clothing he's wearing rapidly starts to disintegrate.

"What the fuck?!" he shouts. Desperately, he tries claws it off, but his hands pass straight through. Finally, he brings his pitchfork up into the air, and then slams the points down into the ground between his feet. A wave of fire explodes from his body upon contact, sending the slime writhing away in pain. It forms into a blob, and frantically trembles as Jelly's poor body is scorched.

The damage is done, however. The remaining bits of fabric on his body drift away, and he's left standing there naked. People around him grow silent as they look in awe at his very miniscule manhood. Boyhood. It'd be small even on your body, and he's almost twice your size.

Dajy raises a hand to her mouth and snickers.

With one hand over his groin, he attempts to fight minus an arm. His face is radiant with crimson as he curses to the heavens. "Son of a bitch! Don't look at me! Just fight, you cowards!"
